What a fantastic tour!! My family and I had a blast on Skye and in the highlands with our guide Jeff (from Glasgow) and our very small group. He's an incredible guide: extremely knowledgable, hilarious, and engaging. We also got very lucky with the weather and autumnal colors throughout, which made each stop better than the last. We also let Rabbie's book our accommodations and they were perfect (The Pier House in Broadford)! Highly recommend!! (We're hoping to book another tour soon)

Neil was our guide for this tour and we would 100% recommend him. There was adverse weather during our trip - right from the start Neil was very concerned with our well being during the weather and was still able to show us many sights. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Scotland and the land in general. He was very personable with all the people on the tour.

This trip was SO worth it!! We saw more than we expected and had a great time doing it. I highly recommend! This trip with Rabbies took us to so many beautiful places…too numerous to mention. Our guide Jamie kept an eye on the weather to make sure we could safely see and experience everything Skye and the area had to offer. Rabbies had us staying at the Portree hotel which was fine. The food was good and the accommodations were…ok. But, they had a great nightlife and filter coffee! If you’re looking for a taste of American coffee it’s not americano…Anyway, I digress. The tour was amazing. We went in October and it was rainy so get some appropriate clothing and bring extra! Enjoy!!

To see some of the sights requires a moderate level of conditioning but well worth the effort! Our guide, Jaime King, was exceptional and shared so many stories and history and took us to the best pl aes for views and experiences.

Long motor coach ride with 15 other tourists from Edinburgh to Portree. Our guide, Graham (?sp) was incredible as he shared history about the scottish clan fights, castles, floura and fauna, and witty tales of all the legendary Scottish traditions. He really made the trip memorable!! The accommodations at 'Skyhaven' were adequate with a delightful breakfast each morning.

This is the perfect tour and way of transportation to Isle of Skye from Edinburgh! My father and I waiter options in between renting a car, taking the train or having the tour with Rabbies, we ought to go with the tour and we are more than pleased with our experience! The fact that it included a stay at an adorable bed and breakfast in Portree was such a bonus. All of the footwork and stress was taking off of our shoulders and we were allowed to just sit back and enjoy the ride. Rodger was the best! He was very gracious and informative throughout the entire journey. Every single person we met along our way who is on a tour with Rabbies had nothing but fabulous things to say about them and their experience. Thank you!

I couldn’t say more positive things about this tour. I wish it was longer than 3 days because the highlands are amazing. Our driver/guide Jamie was absolutely a pleasure! He was super knowledgeable, funny and made our experience the best possible. He even catered to the interests of the tour group asking which sights we would prefer over others and gave us many options. It was hard to believe he had only been with Rabbies for less than a year. I would highly recommend booking this tour and other tours with Rabbies. Experiencing the highlands and getting a glimpse with Rabbies definitely just made me want to come back to Scotland again in the future. In terms of logistics of the tour, I booked a little last minute so my options for room accommodations was limited to only the 3-star hotel en-suite but it worked out fine because I was able to stay right in the main square area at Royal Hotel in Portree. Dining reservations are definitely recommended in advance if possible because you’ll be stuck waiting or not eating what you want. I went closer to shoulder season and it was still quite busy. There were also plenty of food and bathroom stops throughout each day of the tour. Highly recommend!
