We decided to do this tour as a family to celebrate a birthday, and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Victor was an incredible guide who provided a great mix of detailed information and humorous anecdotes, so that by the end of the tour, you felt like you had a deeper understanding of Santiago, Chile and the incredible Andes mountains. The tour flew by with plenty of stops, opportunities to take photos and a delicious wine tasting. Victor created a lovely atmosphere, making it a wonderfully enjoyable day. I couldn't recommend this tour more.

A wonderful day trip from Santiago, including a high-quality wine tasting, a stunning ride into the Andes to Portillo and the Inca Lagoon, and a (no-host) lunch with a view of the Lagoon.Lots of information about Chilean history and geography too.

We started the trip by trying some wine at In Situ winery…learning about the camanere type of wines was insightful, and I wish I could buy and ship because the bottles were so inexpensive and so tasty! Then we made it to the Inca Lagoon by 30+ road switchbacks which was intimidating, fun, and exciting all at the same time. When we arrived to the Inca Lagoon/Hotel Portillo, we first had lunch with the most beautiful view! You have to eat the Conger fish dish with a bottle of wine, and some pastels as an appetizer. The Inca Lagoon views were completely worth the drive! I highly encourage walking down to the water’s edge and dipping your toes in to say you did it, then before getting on the shuttle, spend some time in the giftshop. The second half of the trip is a stop for a scenic picture, another stop for seeing llamas, then the long drive back to Santiago. A little less eventful but still really nice! Victor was the perfect guide! Very knowledgeable and quite hilarious!

Very enjoyable drive through the mountains with the final destination the Inca Lagoon which is just as beautiful as described. Saw another side to Chile. Victor kept us laughing while providing valuable insight and history.

The trip was comfortable and as advertised. Great scenery and great setting. If I could do over I would avoid a Sunday visit. The alpaca stop was a nice tourist moment, but a vinyard stop would have been better.

Beautiful trip to the Andes mountains and Inca Lagoon. The tour guide was knowledgeable and answered all our group’s questions. We had a lovely stop at a vineyard with a couple wine tastings, and got to see llamas! All around great tour.

We loved this trip. A great opportunity to see some the countryside as we drove yo the vineyard, llamas and on the to lagoon. We were lucky enough to see two Andean Condors up close as we drove up to the oasis, and then to see wild guanacos alongside the road. We had packed a picnic lunch and were glad we did - others in the group were not very impressed with food options for lunch. Guide Sam was great, as was the driver, especially up and down the switchbacks!

With one day left in Chile, I wasn’t sure which tour to pick — until I met Álvaro and his unforgettable smile. From seeing the Aconcagua from the Chilean side to tasting wine at a family-run vineyard, every moment was magic. The 3,000-meter climb through the Andes to the turquoise lagoon of Portillo was breathtaking. The bus buzzed with travelers from around the world — Aussies, Sri Lankans, a wonderful woman from Colorado. By the end, I knew: forget private tours. This is the real way to travel. Gracias, Álvaro!

Victor was an amazing and entertaining guide. The wine tasting was excellent and a beautiful location. Portillo was breathtaking. This excursion, guide Victor and driver Angelo exceeded our expectations. It was a great day away from Santiago and Victor gave us so much of his personal knowledge.
