I booked this tour for my husband and parents. We had a fantastic tour with Fabio who was so knowledgeable and patient, ensuring we had the opportunity to see the highlights and take pictures too! One of the best tours we have done, grazie Fabio!

I was not informed that there is a papal address every Wednesday and the Basilica does not open til 2.00 pm. Also the guide is only for the Sistine chapel, not St Peter’s. the Sistine chapel tour was excellent though

This was 200% worth it. Our guide was amazing. You could tell she was passionate about the history and the details. She really made sure we were all following along, answered questions, and clarified when needed. It was the most informative tour I think I have ever had and we loved it.

Our tour guide, Sabina, was very knowledgeable and knew all the ins and outs of how to efficiently get us through the enormous line up. I had visited the Vatican in August a few years ago and it was not nearly as crowded. Sadly, the basilica was closed which meant the rest of the museum and the Sistine Chapel were PACKED!!! Sabina told us when to return so we could still see the basilica later in the day.

Incredible amount of information and history from our guide Ilaria. She knew the history and inside story’s you won’t find in a history book.

Fabio was our tour guide. He was excellent with the information, and very patient with my handicapped mother in law.

Our guide seemed confused the whole time. She was disorganized and did not seem knowledgeable at all. We could not understand her English because her accent was very thick and her microphone she wore on her collar kept rubbing against her shirt so there was lots of static in our headphones. She rambled constantly and didn’t make any sense. Didn’t seem like she could keep an organized thought. She spent time on useless things in the beginning and then we had to rush through the important parts. After the Sistine chapel we were basically running to catch up with her because she was moving so fast at that point. She said she had a doctor’s appointment. Our whole group was very frustrated. It could have been a nice experience and we understand the crowds but the tour guide sadly ruined it.

This tour should be called Michelangelo and the Vatican Museum. Too much time spent talking about Michelangelo and a very negative perspective on the Catholic Church.

Mary was the best! She was super knowledgeable about the Vatican and surrounding places. She was patient with the group even on a busy Saturday allowing us to take the time to take photos, enjoy the view and sit for a moment. Be warned this tour is a ton of walking but worth it! The tour was easy to locate and check in was very simple.

While we endeavour to tell tour groups ahead of time if there are any planned disruptions to the Basilica's opening hours, this is not always possible and in these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts.
- On Wednesday mornings, access to St. Peter’s Basilica is not included due to the Papal Audience. Entry is only possible after 1:00 PM.
