Old Montreal: Unearth its Soul – Exclusive 2-Hr Walk

Walk of Old Montreal was nice where we stopped; but we expected more stops and the history about Montreal because we had read that this tour would make old Montreal come alive.. E.g., started at Place de Armes with a significant monument but nothing was said about it or the sculpture of a famous artist in our way back (chuchoteuses by Belanger). It seemed we walked more than we stopped. It was Nov and nothing mentioned about MTL Table or the projections at night with app that highlight key people/events from the past (cite memoire). Expected more tips and recommendations for food, fun along the tour, like the food festival the MLT Table. We got a great list at the end that already available online. I would have gone with tour that was 1/2 the price.

Fun and informative the guide was very interesting and well informed about the history of Montreal. She also had a good sense of humor.

Gabriella was wonderful and the tour was just what we wanted, even in the pouring rain! We saw so much and learned so much, it was a delightful day. On Gabriella’s recommendation, we went back to take a tour of the Pointe-à-Callière, which was very interesting. Then went in to see Notre-Dame-Basilica, which is so beautiful! Old Montreal is wonderful and we highly recommend this small walking tour!

This was an awesome tour! A great way to learn about the city, see the sights and get some suggestions for later in the day. We ended up at the duck themed hidden speakeasy and it was a vibe. Our guide was awesome! Highly recommend doing this on the first day of your Montreal visit!

You gain so much history and unique information about old Montreal culture past and present ! Our guide, Thomas, was Outstanding in every way. His knowledge, personality and genuine love of the city was evident.! What a treat and for sure worthwhile experience if you have never been to Montreal.

The very best walking tour I've ever taken, and I've taken a lot. Louise, our guide was phenomenal. So great that I spotted her taking a group around the next day, stopped them and congratulated them for picking the best tour guide period. So, yes we enjoyed the experience and the guide.
