Enjoyed the Kualas in particular, but easily worth a half day visit. Animals are more active in the morning; arrive by 8:30 for the Lorakeet feeding

What a disappointment our visit to the sanctuary was. Certainly not the amazing experience we remembered from our last visit some years ago. The admission fee is outrageous - $70.00 per adult, we definitely did not think it was worth the money. Not 1 lorikeet flying around the whole time we were there. Where have they all gone? We arrived about lunch time and stayed a few hours.

This is by far the most beautiful zoo I have ever been to. The animal areas and the meal areas are amazing and the one next to Blinky Bill area with the playground has amazing food. Overall, an amazing experience would definably do it again.

Fun day out for the family. Lots of different animals. Enclosures were large, clean and zoo was well maintained. 10 year old had fun on the dinosaur trail

Good for families and kids to see animals up close. I like the way this place helps the injured wild life. The staff are friendly. This is worth taking visitors from overseas. The location is amazing and you see many famous beaches on the way there however there is traffic due to a rail being installed on the way there.

A heritage listed sanctuary and a home to the world’s largest collection of Australian native animals and birds, especially for huge flocks of wild Rainbow Lorikeet birds, Koalas and Kangaroos. Plan your visit wrt Koala feeding / photo session amd Kangaroo feeding. Koala is akin to celebrity in Australia. Since they sleep for over 14+ hrs, hence need to plan for feeding / photo session.

Wonderful! We visited with our 1 year old baby and had a great time! Make sure you bring a baby carrier or something similar as there are some areas you cant bring a pram into (like the Lemur aviary), we were glad we brought our carrier because that area was so fun! There were more animals than we thought, such as Red Panda's, Tree Kangaroos, Capybara and Lemurs!

Fabulous! Absolutely amazing! I wish it was advertised more. The koala experience was one made of dreams come true. And there are more experiences to choose from in advance. Their work there is incredible! The knowledge of the staff and volunteers was extraordinary. Feed to kangaroos too! We loved it there.

Feeding and petting the kangaroos was amazing! We had a lot of fun and enjoyed seeing the local wildlife up close. The only disappointing factor was that there was an additional charge to hold the Koala bears. I understand that the money goes to saving the wildlife, but for a family of six, it was a high additional charge.
