Masada & Dead Sea: Jerusalem's Must-See Desert Escape

The van ride is tougher than the climbing. Take a walking stick and enjoy the views. Our guide, Eyal, was fantastically informative about the regios history. You can tell he loves his job and takes it seriously. We loved it. I didn’t think I was gonna like it but it was well worth the money. Thanks Viator. Great job Eyal. He also speaks 4 languages.

This was fantastic tour! The tour was more informative and well planned out compared to another tour to Mosada I took by myself a year ago. This time I brought my children along. Our guide Yuval was very informative and I learned new things both on the way to and from Jerusalem. The tour was very well thought out and scheduled for just the right amount of time at each stop. We were given a chance to stop by breakfast, and then ride camels briefly on the way to Masada. The Masada tour was excellent and, as I mentioned before, more informative and to the point compared to other tours that I took. Yuval always pointed out the best spots for taking photos and videos. We even fed the birds on Masada. The Dead Sea part was also very refreshing with just the right amount of time allocated to it not to feel rushed but also to be cognizant of the overall time constraint. I will definitely look into other tours by this company and specifically by our guide Yuval. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Highly recommended I would do it again if I ever come back to Israel. The guide Yuval, was fantastic. On top of having a great sense of humor, he provided in-depth history on the entire tour and the many places visited. I have a much better understanding of Israel history.

Amazing trip to end this trip to Israel! We came to Israel for our son's bar mitzvah and the country chose that evening to hit Iran, leaving us "stuck" in Jerusalem 10 days longer than we expected. As soon as things opened up, we wanted to SEE the country we went through so much to come to. We did the private tour of Masada and the Dead Sea. My hubby is 6'7" (200cm) so traveling is not simple or easy but we had a big comfortable 7 seater car and our AWESOME GUIDE AVI the best driver. There are not at lot of tourists as travel in and out is not cheap or easy but he made it feel like top notch travel where we had the destinations all to ourselves. Avi is super informed and told us everything from how the date trees grow to how to swim in the dead sea waters. On the way back, my teenage kids were wiped out. They went to sleep in the van. Entertaining teens is not easy but they had a great time. My son even said this was on his "bucket list" and now he can look forward to coming again when it's not so hot. Highly recommend

Make sure communicate with driver thru what’App. Example booking last minute Confirmed and charged but no one knows I was waiting driver where we requested. Anyway they refund it and I missed visiting Masada
