Authentic Thai Market Magic: Train Track & Floating Tour

The trip was great. The van picked me up room my hotel on schedule. Our tour leader, Nice, was very polite and knowledgeable. She kept us well informed throughout the day regarding where we should be and when and what we would be seeing. The floating market and train markets were fascinating!

It was great, Tom was very informative & entertaining, giving us some good tips & recommendations. Highly recommend this tour, the floating market was my favorite of the two as it’s so unique. We did the 11am tour & it wasn’t too busy, which was a pleasant surprise.

We had been to the railway market before and seen the train go though but never on the train when it left, this trip allowed us to do both and what an experience it was! Loads of space on the train, a window seat wasn’t a problem and being a local train service it was fun!

Two very cool things to visit. Tour dependent upon your tour guide. We had a nice tour guide, however she simply reiterated herself, simple point-outs without describing or elaborating, which was disappointing.

The train ride to the market and through the market was really good as was the floating market. It would have been really nice to see the full floating market instead of a portion of it and would have preferred a bit more time to be able to walk around at both markets. The tour guide could have given more information/history of the areas we went through and been a bit more interactive with the group

Sara was the best tour guide we’ve had in our many travels. She spoke good English and gave lots of interesting facts . She communicated all the details we needed to not get lost and know ahead of time what the agenda was. She helped us stay safe. She was very friendly and kind. Seeing the train at the market and the floating market was so interesting. I highly recommend this tour. It is more than a half day.

We had such a great time at the floating market with Sara! She was super funny, really friendly, and full of energy the whole time. She made the tour feel fun and relaxed, and we enjoyed every minute. Totally recommend her if you’re doing this tour!

It was a fun excursion but wish that our tour guide was easier to understand. She had a thick Thai accent which made it very hard to understand her English. Maybe if she talked a bit slower, that would have helped understand her better. Otherwise, she was very nice and we had a good time.
