We could have gone to the colosseum tourless, but it was nice to bypass that extremely long line with our guide! Having a guide also provided more insight into historical aspects of interest that really enhanced our experience, especially for our teen daughter. Marcello was a wonderful guide, very personable, knowledgeable and genuine. This tour was organized for us by europe4kidstours.com who helped us find an engaging private guide for families with teens.

Mary Louisa was an amazing guide. The depth of her knowledge added to the overall experience in taking in one of the most iconic buildings in Rome. It must be difficult to manage a group in a tourist setting but she did a wonderful job of being aware to keep the group together and tucking us into quieter spots where she could tell us about things without being interrupted and allowing us time to take plenty of photos.

Fabio was an amazing guide who balanced humor with knowledge. He was able to answer all the questions my teens had, which showed his knowledge was very broad versus just about knowing what the tour needed him to know.

What an amazing guide! Iman was very friendly and explained everything clearly, answering questions with the ease of great knowledge. I learnt a lot more than I expected, having visited the Forum and Colosseum before. Great value for money, especially since he wasn't bothered when the tour overran, even suggesting a great place to eat afterwards. He took good care of the group and further took those interested to other sites on his own time.
