We had this tour Oct 13, 2025 and enjoyed it very much mostly thanks to our tour guide Julia. She’s highly professional, knowledgeable, nice and vey responsible guide. She has excellent communication skills, charismatic with good sense of humour. We’re highly recommend tours by Julia.

Sara made our day so special! The new Mercedes van was waiting for us just by the dock and it was easy to spot the agent with the orange shirts and the flags with lions heads. We first went to Castelmola and got some breathtaking shots of Mountain Etna! We got to wander around the small mountaintop village for a bit then it was back on the van to Taormina for a short walk and history lesson.Sara knew so much and she made it very enjoyable. We split up and everyone went to explore on their own. We were lucky enough to to stay with Sara and have lunch together and learned even more. This was the best tour we have taken in the 3 weeks we have been cruising. We highly recommend it. They also do custom tours if you are interested.

This was one of the best tours I have been on. Mariarita is knowledgeable, interesting, funny and organized. Our driver navigated tight and tricky roads seamlessly. There was a perfect balance between the guided portion and the self-directed portions of our tour. Nothing felt rushed but we also didn’t have to kill time unnecessarily once we had finished exploring.

Excellent. Alessandra our guide was fantastic. Great information provided on the van. Just enough info provided at each site to head us in the right direction, then plenty of free time at each town. Amazing view of Mt Etna at Castelmola. The Greek Theater at Taormina was exceptional. Alessandra even went with us to the theater so that her presence would get us the skip-the-line ticket. Saved a lot of time as the line was pretty long. All in all, one of the best excursions my wife and I have been on in 13 years of cruising.

Our guide was a wealth of information. The van seating was too cramped for legs. Beautiful countryside and unique shopping in Taormina.

Serena the guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable, personable and helpful in every way. The area is beautiful and well worth a visit. Not too much walking and quite easy to do.
