Sarajevo Unveiled: Siege, Survival & Hope Tunnel Tour

It was an amazing but somber experience. The juxtaposition of Sarajevo’s beauty with her scars of war are simply too difficult to explain in a review. What I can explain clearly, however, is the beauty of Sarajevo is only surpassed by her people. I’ve not met a single person here that hasn’t been immediately warm, friendly, and inviting. Highly recommend this tour for a greater appreciation of the city.

We took the War tour, with the war veteran Adnan....wow! What a stunning tour explaining all about the war, its dateline, its origins and its consequences, particularly the social history aspect and the impact on day to day lives. The tunnel, the frontlines for the two rival armies etc...SO interesting, so fairly presented with consideration for both sides' ideologies. Recommend it to anyone and everyone

They were very amenable to a scheduling change that came up on our end at the last minute. Guide was professional, extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommend and great value !

I signed up for the Fall of Yugoslavia tour because it was rather inconvenient to visit the Tunnel of Hope without a car. Choosing this compact 4h tour proved to be the right decision. Emin was friendly and very engaging, I really enjoyed the stories of his family and friends during the siege. History isn’t meant to be boring, and Emin excelled at making it interactive and relatable. Highly recommend this tour to all interested in understanding this difficult period in Sarajevo’s recent history.

Really interesting and an intense experience that, in addition to introducing me to the symbolic places of suffering in the city of Sarajevo (and its charm), also offered me much food for thought on the themes of violence and human cruelty, along with a greater understanding of the historical events of the city and the former Yugoslavia. The guide was excellent, knowledgeable, and above all very empathetic. Thank you.

The journey was very comfortable and well organized. The driver was very courteous and careful. Mr. Kristian is a very friendly tour guide, highly knowledgeable about the country’s history, and he handled questions from me and my children in a relaxed and engaging manner. The scenery and locations visited perfectly matched our preferences, and I will definitely recommend this agency to my friends in Saudi Arabia. Overall, I give it 11/10 — excellent.
