Azerbaijan's Fire & Stone: Gobustan-Absheron Day Trip
The Gobustan-Absheron tour is one of the most popular sightseeing routes in Baku. Entirely historical, it nevertheless introduces the guests of the country to our culture, the peculiarities of the nature in the Absheron peninsula, as well as the adjacent Gobustan desert. The roads of the Gobustan and Absheron tour will lead you to the active craters of mud volcanoes, salt lakes of the semi-desert, the most extreme mountain of the Greater Caucasus, from the depths of which flames escape to the meditativeness of a truly unearthly landscape of rocky hills and the expanses of oil rig fields. The staff of Azerbaijan Travel International, with its inherent professionalism, provides tourists with generous information in stories about various historical epochs of Azerbaijan. From the Stone Age to modern history and the realities of the present, from Roman legionnaires to Hindu ascetics - events and personalities will become an unforgettable part of your new knowledge about Azerbaijan.

Nazperi was my tour guide for gobustan which has more history and without guide it’s difficult to understand the place and she had explained everything clearly. She was very friendly, participating with us in all the activities and making the tour enjoyable. She also explained about food and different markets. I highly recommend to contact ATI tour and ask for nazperi

We had another wonderful tour with our guide Nazperi when we visited Qobustan, the Mud Volcanoes, Fire Mountain, and the Fire Temple. It was a truly informative and enjoyable experience. Nazperi has excellent knowledge about the history and different religions of Azerbaijan. She explained every detail very clearly, which helped us fully understand each place we visited. When you enter places like the Fire Temple and the Burning Mountain, her explanations give you a complete picture of their history and significance. The visit to the Qobustan Museum and Mud Volcanoes was also very interesting, and everything was well organized. She made the entire trip smooth, engaging, and easy to follow. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to truly understand the history and culture of Azerbaijan while visiting these places.

We had an unforgettable experience on the Gobustan and Absheron tour in Baku, and the biggest reason was our amazing guide, Emilya. From the historic rock paintings of Gobustan to the fascinating Fire Temple, Fire Mountain, and the incredible mud volcanoes, she made every stop truly come alive with her deep knowledge and engaging storytelling. Emilya shared a wealth of historical and cultural information throughout the day, explaining everything in a clear, interesting, and enjoyable way. Her passion for history was obvious, and she kept the entire group interested from start to finish. She is fluent in Turkish and French and also speaks many words of Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, and other languages, which helped travelers from different countries feel comfortable and included. What made the tour even more special was her wonderful personality. She is funny, friendly, and very caring. She took excellent care of everyone in the group, made sure all our questions were answered, and created a relaxed and fun atmosphere during the entire trip. Thanks to Emilya, this tour was not just informative but also full of laughter and great memories. I highly recommend her to anyone visiting Baku and looking for a knowledgeable, professional, and truly delightful tour guide!
