My partner and I took captain Jack’s canal cruise while visiting Amsterdam and it was our favourite part of the whole trip! Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable! The boat itself was a clean and welcoming environment, and had great snacks and drinks! Would definitely recommend this cruise to anyone visiting Amsterdam! It is a must do!

The tour was a convenient way to navigate the canals and learn a little bit of Amsterdam’s history. The boat was comfortable and not overcrowded, and our guide was informative and professional. Light snacks / beverages were a lovely treat. Overall a pleasant way to spend a rainy afternoon.

Captain Joe was fantastic! His knowledge sharing, great personality, and utmost patience to deal with a drunk young person who was loud, obnoxious, rude and disrespectful being the entire tour attribute to Captain Joe’s professionalism! Highly recommended tour with Captain Joe.

Joe was a great captain. We did a nighttime cruise and he gave us history and lots of highlights along the canals. The food and drinks were a nice variety too We had a couple loud/rowdy people on our tour, and Joe very nicely kept everyone engaged Recommend!

Had an amazing time on this tour, even during the bad weather! Captain Joe was very informative and entertaining. Our family had a lovely time - even our 7 and 12 year old kids.

Our captain Joe was really fun. It was a rainy afternoon but still had a fabulous time! Loved the sites. Lots of good wine and snacks! Enjoyed!

We had so much fun on Captain Jacks boat! The group was great, the snacks and drinks were a great touch. It’s a great way to see Amsterdam especially if you’re short on time and if the weather isn’t great.

Really enjoyed the smaller group setting - got lucky with only a total of 10 guests on my 6pm tour. Seeing Amsterdam by canal really is a must do experience! Did the signature 90 minute tour with Sonna as the skipper. She was the perfect balance of educational and entertaining ◡̈ would definitely recommend to all and try a different time slot next time Also appreciated the flexibility to change my reservation since I booked the wrong time slot accidentally
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Service animals allowed
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Due a lot of traffic at the dock, I can't wait more than 5 minutes. Please make sure you are at the dock 10 minutes before departure.
- A fairly big step needs to be taken to get in the boat. Of course we will assist you.
- Beware all my boats are open. So when it rains, you can get wet. But rebooking with rain is always possible
- I always try to give the best tour possible (5*). But in rare occasion things don't go as you and me would like. Please let me know asap. Either direct or send me an email of text. I will contact you.
- The tour is a historical canal cruise, it is not a booze cruise. So if you are looking for a bachelor party boat or any other booze cruise, this is not the cruise for you.
- Captain Jack is collaboration between friends. Captain Jack is not himself on the boat.
- Due Health regulations (regarding food) animals are not allowed (service animals excluded).
