We recently visited Morocco for 11 nights using Wanderlust Voyages and we totally enjoyed our trip! The planning of our private tour was facilitated by Grace Roth at ABC World Vacations and it met all of our expectations and hopes. From the moment that we met our driver, Halid, at the airport, we felt very well taken care of. Halid was very efficient and personable and felt like a friend. We managed to see all of the Moroccan sites that we hoped to and more. We especially loved Chefchaouen, Essaouira, and our camel ride in the desert! We had some amazing guides along the way including Kamal (Fez), Rashid (Meknes), and Mohamed (Marrakesh). Our accommodations were very comfortable in great locations and met our request of a quiet room with efficient air conditioning. Thank you Halid and Wanderlust!

We loved our trip to Morocco, thank you Wanderlust for the thoughtful itinerary! Our driver Khalid took excellent care of the four of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring Fes and Marrakech with the local expert city guides that Wanderlust provided. After I told Khalid that I hoped to see local weaving, since I love to weave, he made sure our guides took me to meet weavers — I was delighted with the personal touch. Riding camels in the Sahara was also a highlight. Morocco is a beautiful, fascinating country and we all loved this trip.

We are still on our trip but wanted to write a review for the guides we had so far. We have been traveling for 6 days with Zaid who picked us up at the airport at 7 am and came with special Moroccan treats for us. He drove us around Casablanca to Chefcoeun, Fes and then took the Sahara Desert with such professionalism, always concerned about our well being, giving us tremendous information about the country and all with such a friendly and fun demeanor. he was the best! Wanderlust (Megan in particular) prepared a perfect itinerary to encompass everything we wanted to do with great excursions and stops we didn’t even know we would want to see. I nneed to give a shout out to Chakib who was our guide for a full day in Fes…also one of the best guides ever. We know that Marrakesh will just as good! We would totally recommend Wanderlust and these guide to anyone looking to have an incredible experience in Morocco

My husband and I traveled to Morocco for a 10 day trip this month. The trip was planned by Wanderlust Voyages and it was the vacation of a lifetime. The trip was within our budget, we stayed in amazing accommodations whether it was in one of the cities or the Sahara. We had personal guides in each city who were invaluable leading us through medinas and explaining history. Just as important was our driver, Hassan Amraoui, who was with us the full trip. Hassan was reliable, professional, helpful, spoke several languages including ours, and knew Morocco like the back of his hand. As we explored a vastly different world from our own, Hassan would check in with us to see how we were doing, how could he help us, he knew a nice coffee stop a few minutes up the road. It was a very smart decision to use Wanderlust Voyages as the planner for our amazing trip. They included the things you asked for and covered what you hadn’t thought of yet.

We had the most amazing, well planned 12 day trip. We were three different age groups but Hassan Amroui our guide was so knowledgeable and kind. It feels like we left friends back in Morocco.

We had the best time with Wanderlust Voyages, and especially our driver, Khalid. From the moment we arrived, everything was taken care of. We stayed at the most beautiful riads and everything was coordinated perfectly. Morocco is a wonderful country, and I would highly recommend using Wanderlust to tour the country to see all the different areas that Morocco has to offer.

What a fantastic time my wife and I had. We had been wanting to do Morocco for a few years and so we decided to do it for our honeymoon; it could not have gone any better. Winnie helped set up everything perfectly. Wanderlust were very accommodating in amending certain things to make sure the trip was tailored to what we were aspiring to do. Kudos and praise to the team they have. Massive shoutout to our driver, Khalid. He took tremendous care of us. Very patient, attentive and kind-hearted individual; shared considerable knowledge with us as well as his sense of humor. I barely noticed a long drive through the mountains or the desert as chatting with him was like conversing with an old friend. Anyone with the good fortune to be paired with him will be in the very best of hands. To sum up, Morocco is an incredibly beautiful country with so much to offer; it blew us away and we will keep an eye out on returning hopefully soon in the near future. To anyone who may be hesitating on going, book those flights; if looking for a team to take care of the logistics, Wanderlust will have your back. My wife and I are so grateful. Thank you for everything!

Do yourself a favor and go to Morocco. Morocco is beautiful and the people are friendly and engaging. Wanderlust Voyages planned our perfect 11 day tour. We were a family traveling together with ages ranging between 1 1/2 year old to a 65 year old. We had our own little mini bus that accommodated a car seat and the rest of us comfortably. Our driver Laken, drove us through high Mountain passes, miles of farm land, and to the Sahara Desert with skill and safety always on his mind. Our English speaking Moroccan guide Hassan Amraoui was incredible. He put our whole group at ease and was so willing to share his knowledge and love of his country with us. Hassan always was positive, attentive, and helpful. Every day on our 11 day trip we were all so excited to wake up and see what the day would bring and Hassan and Laken made our experience incredible. Highlights: People, food tour, beautiful accommodations, camel ride, glamping in the desert, the blue city Chefchaouen, world heritage sites, waterfalls, monkeys, and getting to learn about Morocco, it's people, and culture. Tips: Yes, tips( tipping with money) Wanderlust Voyages when we booked sent out important information about Tipping in Morocco. Make sure you read all the information they send you. You truly do tip for just about everything ranging from using the toilet's, baggage handling, and local town guides when your normal guide isn't with you. Be prepared with coins and smaller bank notes/paper money for these situations. Our group found it easiest if one person paid the tips for the whole group and then we paid each other back. That way we could use bigger bank notes/paper money and keep our coins for toilets, street food and other items. Conclusion: Go to Morocco and use Wanderlust Voyages. They planned everything out with perfect details.

I did a 5 day extension after an amazing 2 week trip with friends that Meghan and Winnie organized. My guide and driver Noureddine was so fantastic. He was knowledgeable and drove routes that allowed me to see more rural parts of Morocco. He had great advice and made sure I had a local guide to hike the Akchour waterfalls which was a highlight of the trip.

Morocco was one of my group’s bucket list destinations, but it seemed difficult to get around the country as a foreigner. Wanderlust made the process easy from the beginning by suggesting a comprehensive itinerary covering the highlights of Morocco and being responsive to our requests to tweak it. On the ground, Wanderlust worked with a crew of expert local guides who greatly enriched our voyage. Notably, the vivid explanations of our Volubilis guide brought the ancient city to life and helped us understand the importance of the region to the Roman empire. Kamal, our professorial guide in Fes, not only introduced us to the long history of the medina and the deep traditions of the craftsmen, but also instructed us in the many ways that the Arabic world has influenced Western language and society. The food tour in Marrakech exposed us to dishes and snacks we might have passed over; we even got to enter a kitchen to see an oven in which mechoui is cooked! Most importantly, Wanderlust assigned a wonderfully friendly and helpful driver to us. From the moment Noureddine picked us up at the airport, we were impressed by his hospitality and his attention to our comfort and safety. Throughout the 10 days, he doubled up as a trusty guide. He enthusiastically explained many aspects of Moroccan way of life (ranging from driving etiquette to Berber customs to Islamic practices), shared his love for the varied landscapes and Amazigh music, and even welcomed us to his home for a traditional Friday couscous. Even when faced with issues, such as when a hotel sold our rooms without informing Wanderlust, Noureddine was unfazed and resolved them in a professional manner. There were elements that could be improved of course (e.g. the air conditioning of the car, the content of the Marrakech medina tour, the toilets of several riads), but they did not detract from the overall experience. I loved this first foray into Morocco and the African continent!
