Ravenna's Golden Glow: Unforgettable Mosaic Art Journey

Wonderful tour visiting the mosaic monuments around Ravenna. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and was very clear explaining the history and culture in and around Ravenna. I would definitely recommend this tour.

The mozaics and Ravenna were beautiful. The tour was efficient and well conducted. The Italian guide was enthusiastic but a little verbose and her accent made it challenging to understand all that she said.

Very informative tour, Marco was a knowledgeable guide with a good sense of humour. The mosaics are fabulous historic artworks and Marco managed to place them in their context and provide a history of Ravenna. The tour was scheduled for 3 hours but finished early. My wife suffers from some breathing difficulties and would have appreciated a slower pace and more breaks between the monuments.

The walking tour was fabulous. We learned so much about Ravenna and the mosaics. They truly are stunning! Great guide!!!!

Excellent tour. It’s worth paying for this guided tour to see these magnificent mosaics. Our guide was very knowledgeable, kept it interesting, and had a good sense of humor. She kept the tour at a good pace to cover a lot without rushing.

Our tour included about 20-25 people, which proved to be a bit unwieldy for our time. With a group that size and the need to be quiet in churches, I felt that we missed some good content. But still, the tour stops by several truly beautiful churches that are wall to wall with mosaics, and some of the most beautiful churches and frescoes in Italy.

Really interesting lesson of culture, art and religious traditions. All of them reflected in those stunning buildings. Asunta, best guide ever.
