⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I participated in the Sarajevo War Tour on January 2nd, 2026, organized by Dream Balkans Travel, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. The tour started with a visit to the Tunnel of Hope, and already on the way there our guide Adis provided a huge amount of information in a very clear, understandable, and engaging way. Afterwards, we visited the Olympic bobsleigh track on Mount Trebević, where we were able to walk a section of the track while Adis explained the former Serbian positions and the strategic importance of the area. To fully understand the constant danger Sarajevo’s citizens were exposed to during the siege, we visited several panoramic viewpoints overlooking the city. From these locations, Adis shared extremely valuable and insightful information about enemy positions, daily life during the war, and the defense of Sarajevo, which made the history feel very real and personal. What made this tour truly exceptional was Adis himself. He personally took part in the Bosnian War and was involved in the defense of Sarajevo. Listening to someone who actually lived through these events was deeply moving and powerful. Adis was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, and he answered every question in great detail. We felt truly honored to experience this part of history with someone like him. The organization of the tour was also excellent. Communication was very easy thanks to constant contact via WhatsApp, and the ladies in the office were extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating from start to finish. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sarajevo who wants to truly understand the city’s recent history. An emotional, educational, and perfectly organized experience.

Adnan is an awesome guide. He was a soldier in the Bosnian army and ecperienced the war and the siege at the forefront. He is able to provide sincere and balanced information. I loved this tour and recommend it 200%. Thank you / Hvala.

I enjoyed the tour very much, it was exceptionally dense and informational, and a real enrichment exchanging with my guide. I was lucky enough to be the only one that morning, so it was pretty much a private tour. I learned a lot, beyond my expectations, both historically and humanly

A day I will remember for my life. Our guide, Adis, is a war veteran of the 1992 war and told in details what happened in the city and the country. His storytelling, detailed version, and personal experience made a truly unique impression. We would pass ordinary buildings going to the museum and he would explain the story behind them, as what he saw in 1992-95. That kind of knowledge is rare to find. More than an educational tour, this was a life changing experience. On top of that, his English was excellent and fluent, so we were able to have deep conversations. Highly highly recommend. One of the highlights of my trip to Europe.

I was extremely pleased with this tour, which really was educational in filling in the gaps - both factual and human - in my understanding of Sarajevo under siege. After my last ‘visit’ 30 years ago, it is a pleasure to see your city living and breathing; but it is also important not to forget and to instead learn. My sincere appreciation to our guide for his expertise, eloquence and also his approachability in being willing to engage with my (many, many!) questions. Thank you..
