Unforgettable Addis: Private Authentic City & Culture Odyssey

This experience is a must if you’re visiting Addis Ababa! Mulugeta and Dagim were amazing guides.. super friendly and really knowledgeable. I learned so much about Ethiopia’s history, and when I come back with my family/friends, I’ll definitely book with them again.

Alex is a very energetic and enthusiastic guide who was flexible and arranged a great tour of the city highlights in the short 5 hours I had available on my long layover. Don’t miss the women’s pottery center!

A very informative tour with Alex. Alex has a wealth of knowledge about Ethiopia. He paced the tour to fit our interests. We loved seeing Lucy at the museum, so we spend a lot of time there and not much to at the crowded market. The pottery was another highlight. Lunch was interesting and very reasonable. They accommodated my lack of spice tolerance. The driver was amazing navigating the crowded streets. Overall an enjoyable experience.

What a wonderful day that ticked off all of our places we wanted to see. We visited Entoto, museum, university, Lucy fossil, Tamoco coffee, authentic lunch, Ethiopian coffee ceremony, lovely church with giant tortoises. So much to say. Alex, our lovely guide was really flexible and asked what we wanted to do . Didn’t stick to the itinerary just tailor made it to our needs. Very patient and didn’t rush us, we felt we were back later than expected but still took his time with us. We hopped in and out of the car and our driver was always seconds away waiting round the corner for us. Alex was soo knowledgeable and gave us lots of history and information. We felt he was very well known to the sights we went too and we felt so safe and very welcomed everywhere. The best service, best day and would highly recommend. Thank you for such a nice taste of Addis Ababa.

Excellent day in Addis Ababa with Alex. We were able to plan the day around our interests and move at our preferred pace. He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the city and country and passionate about most topics. Would certainly recommend for anyone wanting to get the most out of a day in Addis.
