Vieques Bio Bay & Beach: Unforgettable Island Escape from San Juan

Only place in the world worth doing a bio tour. Rafael was a great tour leader- kind, prepared, and patient. He picked everyone up with ease and provided snacks and waters along the way.

Outstanding once in a lifetime experience. We loved the fact that we were picked up at our hotel in San Juan, driven to the ferry, driven to a nice beach, then over to eat dinner before heading to Mosquito Bay for an amazing guided tour in a glass bottom boat. Our guide David was extremely knowledgeable about the Bay and made the experience much more enjoyable. After the tour, we were dropped off at our hotel by Rafael who was our driver and escort. He made the travel enjoyable and even provided snacks, drinks and fruit for our stay on the beach. 10 out of 10.

We had an amazing experience on the bioluminescent tour in Vieques! It was truly magical watching the water light up around us — like something straight out of a dream. Our guide, Rafael, made the experience even better with his knowledge, humor, and passion for nature. He explained everything so well and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable the whole time. Definitely one of the most unforgettable experiences in Puerto Rico — highly recommend it!

It was so much fun experiencing another island with good people and kayaking was the best! If you’re lucky enough to get a picture on the bay. Even if you do, the experience of being there is way better! Loved Rafael, very attentive and made sure we were okay and doing well.

The whole experience was incredible from start to finish. The pickup and dropoff was flawless and well-planned. The timing of the day’s plans were moved around due to ferry maintenance, which was communicated well. Rafael is seriously the best!
