Geneva: Ultimate Gruyère Cheese & Chocolate Day Trip

Our tour with Gabor was absolutely amazing. He was very kind, trying to help us even before the tour started and helping us with the kids during a rainy day. The experience was truly complete, Gabor sharing with us history and tips of every place we visited, the timings of the visit were perfect, and even having world’s best fondue was an additional to our tour. Our kids really enjoyed the day, as much as us, so this is a experience we can easily called PERFECT! Thank you Gabor!

This was a great tour. I didn’t realize how far away it was from Geneva (1 hr 45). Our driver was late, which was no problem. However, I felt a bit rushed throughout the tour. That said, our guide/driver was attentive and thoughtful!

Great trip to visit Gruyeres. The castle was the highlight with interesting history and beautiful views. The cheese and chocolate factories were also great stops! Gabor was a great guide to coordinate visits and keep us on time, and the structure of the day ensured we got to see and learn a lot for a day trip.

Great day trip out to a beautiful region - fields, mountains, the lake. The Gruyère and Callier factories are interesting (both with samples) and the medieval town is cute - with incredible views. Gabor was a great host & guide, the ride was comfortable. Lovely day! Highly recommend as a day trip to see outside the city.

This was a well organized fantastic tour that showed us the beautiful Swiss countryside and gave us experiences of seeing factories for making Gruyere cheese and Swiss chocolate. We loved seeing the castle and having the chance to enjoy some Swiss foods for lunch along with looking through the medieval town. Gabor made the day fun and made everything easy for us from pre purchased tickets and even made lunch reservations for us.

A wonderful side trip out of Geneva! The guide was fabulous; personable, knowledgeable, and he made sure we had all the information we needed to enjoy the visits.

Gabor is so patient. We had a problem with the verizon international phone app that was a real challenge. He was able to work his way through it and make our stay in Geneva amazing. It was a great experience with him!!

Small group experience really enhanced the tour. Gabor, the tour guide, was polite, pleasant and full of fascinating information. The Gruyere cheese factory was fun and the acoustic guide fun. Same for the tour of Cailler chocolate factory. Most fascinating to me was tour of Gruyère chateau which was an exceptional historic site. The camaraderie among tour goers reached a culmination when we all stopped at Hotel Saint George for delicious fondue. I wouldn’t hesitate to book any tour with Gabor.
