What an amazing day. The driver/guide was so much fun, the stops were amazing, so much cheese and chocolate! I loved the entire experience.

The chocolate and cheese factory tours were fine—both were relatively short and felt more like opportunities to shop in their gift stores than full experiences. I would have preferred to spend more time exploring the town of Gruyères itself or to get out or the van in Montreax. Overall, it’s a long day of driving for just the factory visits.

Well worth with the money. The guide was great. Gruyère was very scenic. The tour of the production was interesting. The tour of Cailler was better. Lots of chocolate !

The cheese stop was not up to my standards. The little cheese sampler packet was not what we expected. The castle entrance fee should have been part of the package with more time to visit there.

This tour to Gruyères was truly a wonderful experience. I learned a lot about the history and the fascinating process of making Swiss chocolate and Gruyère cheese, which made the visit both educational and delicious. The medieval village of Gruyères looked absolutely magical, like stepping into a fairytale, and it was very easy to walk around and enjoy. From the castle and cobblestone streets to the charming houses, every corner offered a picture-perfect view. The surrounding plains and farms were breathtaking, adding to the charm of the trip. The only small difficulty I had was with the meeting point at the airport. The coordinates given in the reservation led me to the runway, which was confusing and not logical. I spent some time lost trying to figure it out. I suggest that clearer instructions be added, such as specifying the terminal number and the exact meeting gate, so that future travelers can find it more easily. Overall, this was a memorable and highly enjoyable tour. I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Switzerland.

We had a great time at the chocolate factory tour, cheese factory tour, and the Gruyère medieval village. It’s a full day but did not feel rushed. We had 2 hrs 45 min of free time to explore the village, which was long enough to sit down for a fondue lunch and explore the castle (we bought tickets to go inside, or you can walk the perimeter for free). It is possible to do this trip on your own using trains and buses, but it was worth it to us to do this tour to have the logistics handled for us.

This tour was the highlight of our Switzerland trip! It started off with our excellent tour guide Telis picking us up at the hotel which was super convenient then it was smoothe sailing from there. From the breathtaking scenery to his great knowledge of the country along with his great vibes and music selection, the trip was just fun and fantastic! The factories were very informative and interactive and Telis also gave helpful suggestions on how to transport the chocolate to avoid it melting; lunch at the cheese factory was a delight, having tried cheese fondue for the very first time. This trip was definitely worth it and I would recommend this with the scenic train ride through the mountains.

This tour was so much fun from the minute we walked on the bus, because our tour guide, Roger, shared informative narrative and history along the way and sprinkled it with humor and ways to participate in the dialogue. Roger made sure we were informed of what was to happen at each activity and gave suggestions to ensure each of us could have the best experience. We had so much fun, ate so much delicious chocolate and cheese, and, bonus, we learned so much across the trip, the activities and the charming medieval town. The mountain views were exceptional. Thank you, Roger!

We had fun taking this tour of Gruyere Chocolate and Cheese factories. Our guide, Normunds, was excellent. He has a great sense of humor and took good care of us. The bus seats are a little to tightly packed for my liking, but since it’s a relatively short drive it was manageable. Delicious chocolate samples convinced me to buy some in the gift shop. Both the chocolate and the cheese tours were interesting and educational.
