We had two wonderful days exploring Istanbul with our delightful and knowledgeable guide, Numan! He exceeded our expectations in every way! Numan knows Istanbul and its history. We learned so much in two days and we are quite sure there was even more had we booked a third day😊

Our walking tour through Istanbul’s historic heart was nothing short of magical. From the majestic Hagia Sophia to the opulent Topkapi Palace, our guide Muhsin Ulusoy brought centuries of history vividly to life with passion and wit. We marveled at the ethereal Blue Mosque, descended into the haunting beauty of the Basilica Cistern, and wandered the intoxicating maze of the Grand Bazaar—all effortlessly, thanks to his foresight in prebooking tickets and deftly dodging queues. Every stop shimmered with stories, every step pulsed with meaning. It wasn’t just sightseeing—it was time travel, guided by someone who truly loves and understands this city.

We had 1 full day at the end of our honeymoon to see as much of Istanbul as we could. This tour helped make it as easy and seemless as possible to see the major, beautiful attractions in the city all in one day. Our tour guide Merve was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. She made the whole experience that much more special for me and my wife. Can't recommend this private tour enough!

This was a fun tour, Mustafa guided us thoughtfully and efficiently through many of the main sights of Istanbul, without feeling rushed. I never could have orchestrated it as efficiently on my own, and was grateful to have an insider share their cultural and historical knowledge about what we were seeing. Mustafa included stops at quality shops to experience cultural specialities and to have the option to purchase authentic Turkish items. Also his lunch pick was delicious and authentic and he nimbly adjusted the tour to try to keep my 9 and 11 year old kids interested. Would whole heartedly recommend this tour, we had one long day and one shorter day together. Wouldn’t hesitate to travel with him on his longer tours as well!

After an accident right before the trip we had to change the route straight to a clinic. The GIT team was so understanding that they wished us all the best and immediately refunded the amount we paid. Thank you, I'll definitely stay with you next time I visit Istanbul!

From the very first consultation with Guided Istanbul Tours, our personalized journey was seamless, responsive and executed to perfection. We arrived in Istanbul with a celebrity cruise, and our tour guide, Muhsin Ulusoy from Guided Istanbul Tours contacted us via WhatsApp—letting us know he had arrived at the dock an hour early, confirmed with no extra charge! Muhsin was incredibly friendly and professional—making our group feel welcome from the start! We explored some of Istanbul’s most iconic landmarks, including the majestic Hagia Sophia, the mysterious Basilica Cistern, the breathtaking Blue Mosque, and the vibrant Grand Bazaar. Each site came alive through Muhsin’s deep knowledge and engaging storytelling, enriching our understanding of the city's rich history and culture. Our group of eight was comfortably driven in a spacious, complimentary wifi, air-conditioned van across both continents via the Bosphorus Bridge, experiencing both Europe and Asia in a single day. One of the highlights was dining at Uskumru, a 5-star seafood restaurant located by seashore, with spectacular views of Istanbul, top-notch service, and friendly staff. The reservation was thoughtfully arranged by Guided Istanbul Tours, and the scenery made for an unforgettable evening. Every detail—from itinerary planning to transportation, skip in line tickets and dining—was handled with care, making our experience extremely smooth and stress-free. All we had to do was share where we wanted to go, and within lightning speed, regardless my time zone, we received a customized itinerary and quote. It was that easy. If you are planning a trip to Istanbul and want a guide and tour agency that truly goes above and beyond, trustworthy, affordable, we wholeheartedly recommend Guided Istanbul Tours and Muhsin Ulusoy. The whole team made our first visit to this culture-rich city absolutely unforgettable!

We had a great time on our first day in Istanbul as a family, with 15 and 17 year olds. Tarik was knowledgeable but did not overwhelm us with facts - he put everything into context, explain lots, did not rush us. In the end we walked a lot but it didn’t feel exhausting. We had initially taken a tour of Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and Bazaar but decided to swap Topkapi Palace with the Cisterns which were unbelievable! Tarik also helped us get the tickets then and there and skip all the queues. My husband and I had been 3 times before but never with a guide and it was well worth it!
