Blue Mansion George Town: Unforgettable Heritage Unveiled

Must see in George Town! Definitely do the guided tour, great storytelling and history. Our guide Sally was lovely, so knowledgeable , and well-spoken. The building was very well-kept, so many gorgeous photo opportunities. Great for groups or solo trip.

Most of areas not allowed to enter bcz excursion visitors are not hotel guests. You can see much more if you book a hotel room in there. Places that we were allowed to enter, was modernised museum rooms with very few old museum artifacts like : tableware, clothing, pictures and such.. was interesting to hear the story of an owner who build this mansion and why its blue and so on.. but honestly we expected way more than that.. place was overcrowded by visitors and was not easy to take pictures. Although our guide was really passionate and spoke a perfect english that made us to be more interested in the story. He had a great sense of humour and made our experience better than we expected. But honestly the story maybe more interesting for chinese ppl rather than us -Europeans..

Joining our company trip for this guided tour. The tour guide, Sally is detailed and friendly. She explained the history of Cheong Fatt Tze and Fengshui of the house. I enjoyed her tour.

I can definitely recommend taking the guided tour of the blue mansion. It's included in the entrance ticket which cost 25 rm. The Mansion itself is really beautiful and have been used in several movies.

Very good and informative guide. Her knowledge of the history of the mansion and its original owners is excellent. The only thing that spoilt it was the rude and ignorant people who thought it was okay to talk while the guide was speaking.
