The tour was great and the Guide was superb. We visited many places and the best was the Fingers. Worth it! I recommend others to take this tour.

Marcela was a delightful guide, and she did a great job of accommodating all of us in Spanish and English. Yes, there’s a lot of time in the shuttle, but Punta del Este was worth it. Relaxing day - well worth the nominal fee.

Really good trip. Perfect amount of time at each stop. Our guide Marcela was wonderful and provided pertinent info and great recommendations at stops.

Marcela and Angel were amazing guides! I got to see a lot of the history and culture of Uruguay and had a blast! I would definitely recommend them!

Great day trip! Enjoyed learning about Carlos Piaz Vilaro and seeing his work. Lovely lunch recommendation in Punta del Este from our guide.

Worth doing. Marcela was great at providing explanation and translating into different languages. Nice restaurant recommendation too. We saw the best of Punta del Este. Got back to Montevideo about 7pm.

Our helpful and friendly guide was Ricardo; the trip was well-organized, with interesting stops at Casapueblo, Marina (sea lions), Lighthouse, Punta de las Salinas, and more.

A great day out from Montevideo with many stops to see beautiful views and sculptures along the way to Punta del Este. We arrived in the town centre at about 1.30pm (having left MVD around 10am after all the pick-ups were complete) and had two hours' free time which is enough to get lunch and have a short stroll/do some shopping (there are lots of outlets there). We then stopped at an undulating bridge (think rollercoaster!) and a few minutes at a casino (mainly for the Brazilians, who apparently make up most of the visitors on this day trip, and where casinos are illegal). From there we went to Casa Pueblo which is a beautiful and unique building designed by the artists. Our guide ensured we were there with enough time to see the building/art before catching the sunset for which there is a whole ceremony. We got back to MVD at about 8-9pm. Our guide was Marcela and she was excellent - very friendly and helpful. Our group was all Brazilian apart from me and she was very mindful to ensure that the information was provided in Portuguese and English. The minibus we went in was comfortable. I did the tour in August which is 'winter' but it was a beautiful sunny day and well worth it - also much less busy than it would be in high season. And we saw a whale just as we were arriving at Punta del Este! Wow!

This was a great all day tour with a good amount of free time. I have done these types of big bus all day tours in many locations and they generally feel rushed with little free time to take pictures or enjoy the location. The Casapueblo was very cool to see and a great stop. Lunch was suggested a great restaurant, Restaurant Charrúa, which had a variety of dishes and without rushing was fast service so you can make the most of your time. The restaurant is in the middle of town so if you want to go elsewhere you have that option. Marcella was fantastic! She would walk up to every person to ensure they knew all important information about where to go and what to do. She wanted to make sure everyone was having a good time and never felt confused at all. This is a lot to do on a bus but she did it. I also had Gonzalo as a driver to be picked up and dropped off at my hotel. He was very friendly and he made sure to send me details of his van and time of pickup beforehand.

I really enjoyed the tour! Marcela was a great guide and Fabian the driver was very helpful. It was rainy all day but they really helped us make the most of the tour. Ending at Casapueblo was amazing and was the highlight of the day. I definitely recommend this day tour from Montevideo!
