It was a very enjoyable day and very informative day. All tour guides in this world could and should take lessons from our guide,Matt. He was very knowledgeable and could write the history books on the Jamestown and Yorktown history.

Matt was a very knowledgeable guide. We learned a lot about the early life of the English in the 1600 and 1700’s.

It sounds like a long trip, but Matt made it so interesting, time just flew by. I didn't know a lot about the Revolutionary War, but I now understand how, and why, and where it happened. Thank you, Matt,

This was a great tour, especially for anyone interested early American settlements and revolutionary war history. Matt was an exceptional tour guide and educator. Using humor and storytelling, he provided interesting details behind events, places, artifacts, monuments and artwork we were seeing throughout the day. We learned a lot on this tour and enjoyed every moment. The museums at Jamestown and Yorktown were impressive and a must-see if visiting these places. We highly recommend this tour.

Because the Fed Govt was shut down, and there was rain much of the day, access to and experience of several outdoor sites was limited. The tour guide provided several stories to add context, background and meaning to sites.

I would highly recommend this tour, whether it is solo or as a couple. Matt was an excellent guide, full of knowledge, funny and extremely friendly to all! We learned so much on this tour and have already recommended to our friends that live here in Virginia.

Our guide was excellent, he has a wealth of knowledge, answered questions and has a wonderful manner. Because of the government shutdown some of the Yorktown schedule was not available but because of his knowledge he was able to divert to another are on the battlefield and compensated for the closed area.
