Unforgettable Sydney & Bondi: Express Hop-On Tour!

One of the bettere hop on hop off bus experiences I've had. The routes were well selected, hitting many of Sydney's highlights, and the commentary informative and entertaining.

Helpful friendly drivers, and the real time bus tracker on the app is great. 48hr option lets you see all the highlights.

We enjoyed our ride on the bus. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time when we changed lines. We did see so much! I recommend doing this to get oriented after landing in Sydney.

Booked the tour on our first full day in Sydney. Took both the red and blue lines. Great way to get the "lay of the land" and see everything within a few hours to get a better feel for where you want to spend more time exploring.

I rode the red bus on the complete loop around the central business district, and it was very informative. I was able to ride around a second time and hop off on the places I saw the first loop riding around.

The bus was very convenient I could go anywhere I wanted to hop & hop off. I took 2 routes City tour and Bondi Beach in a day. I had enough time to back to the city.

The hop on hop off bus has a good route, but I wish there was more commentary & less music. A big thank you to Adam for helping us sort out issues with the dates on our tickets. Five stars there! The night bus has much better commentary, as you have a live person talking to you. The sky is beautiful at sunset, so I'd recommend. Cpt Cook Hop on hop off cruise was good, & the Cpt kept the boat as smooth as possible when it got a bit stormy. Commentary was better than the bus, but I still wish there was more.

The Big Bus experience is always a good one in the mayor cities, and Sydney is no different. Headphones are provided, and they are the small round buds (recommend bringing your own with a 3.5 mm jack to plug-in if you have more comfortable earphones or struggle with the stereotypical shape like I do) that you get to keep to use throughout the day and afterwards if you like them. The nighttime bus tour was great because it’s with an actual person rather than a pre-recorded session. The only downside is the bus stops are confusingly marked on the stylized map, and there isn’t a person at every stop which can kind of leave one feeling like they’re in danger of missing the meet-up points. But the major stops often have a dedicated set up and person so you can just go to one of those to be picked up/dropped off.

Having experienced three, very good, previous hop on hop off buses in Australia during my trip this was not a good one with regard to staff. They are stand offish and unhelpful.
