Diksha was an awesome guide. She gave us a very detailed look at this entire area with a lot of information about the people, their work, the politics and the society. Any time we had a question, Diksha gave a thorough answer. Throughout all of it, she was calm and FUNNY. She made our how group feel very comfortable.

Amazing experience and a must for your Mumbai visit. A behind the scenes look at how this massive community operates. You won't understand unless you visit yourself. Diksha brought a lot of passion and knowledge to the tour, and could basically answer and question we had.

A very educational tour. I learned a lot about the history of the Shari slum, and gained a new appreciation of daily life here.

We went on a dour of the Dharavi area of Mumbai. Our guide was Hitesh, who was fantastic throughout the day. The density is extreme. The condition of buildings is eye-opening for a westerner. But all of the economic activity and love in the neighborhood was noticeable. Our guide Hitesh was very careful to give us the real information, the challenges but also the triumphs of people in this neighborhood. He also was able to answer all of our big picture questions with amazing precision and detail. I asked ChatGPT several of the same questions after the tour, and they squared up exactly with what we were told.

We had an amazing tour with Senshal who is a 19 year old slum dweller with absolutely fluent English and an incredible knowledge of life in the slum. We would highly recommend this tour.

A really interesting tour. Hitesh gave us a lot of information about how the area came about, who lives there and what they do. We had not realised that there were so many workshops on addition to the houses. A truly memorable experience.
