Mumbai's Dharavi: Transformative Slum Tour & Her Story

It was a wonderful experience seeing the Dharavi Slum with Sneha . She lives here and knows all about what happens. Firstly we visited where they recycle the plastics and then we walked around the residential area. If you come to Mumbai it is a must to see!

Wow what an insightful trip! Eye opening and fascinating and the guide was great. I was a solo female traveller and the only person on the tour so got a real 1:1 visit and felt to totally safe. Locals in the Slums are seemingly unbothered by tourist visits and working hard in the appalling conditions but it seemed a contented place. The smells, sanitation, rats and garbage was awful but the mass business of recycling and manufacturing processes were awe inspiring to see. A not to be missed experience
