Cordoba's Soul: Mezquita & Jewish Quarter Walking Journey

Wonderful tour guide, Saray, is on top of her history of Cordoba. She imparted depth and breadth that far exceeded my expectations. With so much history to cover, she focused on the muslim/catholic church/mosque beginnings, modifications and present day status. Fascinating part of Cordoba.

The tour went well. The tour guide ensured that all were in place before proceeding. The guide provided us with much information.

Anna was an excellent tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and a funnel of information. She was very welcoming and open to questions. The Cathedral/Mosque and Jewish Quarter were very interesting and we were amazed at how old the Cathedral/Mosque is.

The guided tour was amazing. Our guide Jose did an outstanding job explaining the city and the architecture, especially the Catedral/Mezquita. He is a wealth of knowledge as he intellectually put into perspective matching architecture and history of this amazing city. Highly recommend guided tour.

Amazing guide—learned so much and also had fun. I definitely would have missed so many important elements of the Cathedral if I didn’t have this guide. She was super knowledgable, made sure to keep us in the shade when we were outside, and was super engaging. Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our trip through the Cathedral Mosque which is a must see if you are in this part of Spain. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and didn’t overload us with detail but highlighted the significant points. The tour through some of the Jewish quarter was a good addition but not the highlight of the tour.

The tour was fabulous, very informative. Guide was local lady, knowledgeable and engaging. Just an extra clarification, despite the tour title, this is no longer a mosque. It is a Catholic Church. Both religions have built and modified the building and it beautifully merges the two styles but is no longer functioning as a mosque.
