We loved the day Shinji planned for us. It was a full and informative day. Happily, we got in many steps. Shinji is knowledgeable of Japanese history and he accommodated our wants and needs very well. Shortly after we registered, Shinji contacted us to intoduce himself. Once he prepared the itinerary he wrote again to seek our approval. He arrived on time and helped us understand the transportation system. We commend his professionalism and recommend him highly.

My tour with Shinji was absolutely perfect. He reached out to me before the tour and asked me what I was interested. I said getting an overview of Kamakura history (of which there is a vast amount) and getting a good hike. He totally delivered on both. Hiking was great. Some really nice trails, and enough distance and challenge to feel like a hike and not just a nature hike, but also beautiful and never overwhelming. Shinji similarly delivered on the Kamakura history. The guy knows his stuff and was able to explain the history of each of the sites we visited and how it fell into the great history of Kamakura and Japan. His explanations were entertaining, engaging, and detailed but never felt like lectures or a guy just reciting facts. They really helped bring the tour to life. Shinji was charming and engaging as a person, super easy to spend time with. Most recommended.

Our guide Shinji is very knowledgeable and patient. We have zero idea about Kamakura, he gave us instructions on how to reach out meeting point since we are coming from Tokyo. The tour was a good pace and we were able to see all the sights within the time specified. Will definitely recommend

We had an excellent day in Kamakura with our guide Shinji! He gave us an excellent tour of all the key shrines plus the great Buddha. He recommended that we take part in a Matcha tea ceremony and provided us some great insights on the history of the temples. He also recommended a wonderful place for lunch! We had a terrific day and highly recommend the experience to others!
