Snowy Peaks & Thermal Bliss: Unforgettable Manizales Journey

One of a kind experience: going to this height is challenging, but you only walk a few hundred meters. It seems too little, but trust me, you will faint hard! Nice view, volcanic ashes and panorama as well. The hot spring is not very fancy, but not crowded. We were late and the guide accepted to wait us for the time needed. Big thumbs up for them!

Tour very interesting ! Good guide ! Chances to see the summit are slim ! Fog and rain at the highest level! BEWARE! I booked my tour the day before ! When I talked to other people I realized that I paid twice as much with trip advisor!

The tour provide a smorgasbord of natural experiences in the parque national de nevada, hotel pickups, mealstops and spa recharge. Our friendly bilingual guide complemented this with interesting background on history and geography that helped my Spanish. Good for people like me for whom a multiday excursión wasn't an option.

This was a fantastic tour, and a wonderful way to experience the PNN Los Nevados. Our guide, Angelica, was very knowledgeable about the geology and history of the park and Nevado Ruiz. The tour was on time, and a decent breakfast and lunch was provided by a local roadside restaurant. The park is certainly work seeing, as it is drastically different from other landscapes in Colombia. The thermal baths in the afternoon were a nice way to relax and enjoy some warmth after a cold morning in high elevations. A warning for those that are prone to altitude sickness: you reach nearly 14,000 feet during the tour. Highly recommend this tour.

Great experience, magical place. The experience with the food was superb. The landscapes is out of this world. Going up the mountain and you can experience the changes in the environment meter to meter. And then you finish on the thermal waters is just the perfect combination between cold and hot.

We were picked up at our Manizales hotel at six in the morning and the day was really great. We stopped for breakfast at a small place next to the lagoon and we were back there for lunch a couple of hours later after seeing the park, including some of the landscapes. After lunch we went down to the thermal spa, which was really nice and relaxing, the tour guide was fantastic. Would totally recommend this tour.

Truly enjoyed this tour! Breiner spoke perfect English, was extremely knowledgeable and was kind enough to take lots of pictures for me (I was travelling solo). The thermal spa was the perfect way to end the day. I recommend bringing waterproof shoes/boots :)
