Mumbai's Timeless Elephanta Caves: UNESCO Island Journey

We had an amazing time exploring the Elephanta Caves — truly a must-visit when in Mumbai! The rock carvings and history were fascinating, and the atmosphere was peaceful yet full of life. A huge thank you to Neha, our guide — she was absolutely amazing! So knowledgeable, friendly, and patient, she made the whole experience unforgettable with her stories and insights. Highly recommend this tour and Neha in particular!

Nikil was the most insightful guide we’ve had so far. One of the highlights of our Mumbai tour was visiting the Elefanta caves with him. Very well explained and he knew where to take all of the photos. We would repeat the tour with him in a heartbeat.

Gautam our guide was very professional and very simple ready to answer all questions and the new Indian fiends made the excursion a party with a dinner at the end of the trip and we found out it was the guide birthday so they bought a cake for Gautam to celebrate his birthday most of the guests at the restaurant sing with us happy birthday to Gautam ! A super trip with a lot of good surprises

Trikal did a very good job as my guide at the Elaphanta Caves. He was very knowledgeable, interesting, and what I liked most was his enthusiasm. Shiva arranged and organized the day. This tour was only one part of what turned out to be a great day in Mumbai. He and Shamsher made the ride to the dock and back interesting, and the boat ride to and from the island exciting and fun! I highly recommend all three gentlemen, they were a great team.

Elephanta caves are amazing. It's a very good view of our architecture which is 1500 years old. And we had a good experience from the magical mumbai tours. Gautam yadav is a very good, cheerful and friendly tour guide. He did explained a lot of history and is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend the trip with him in Mumbai.

Shivam is a very good guide: punctual, discreet, and attentive, he accompanied us on the boat to the Elephanta Caves. On the island, Trikal showed us the rock carvings. His explanations were clear and prolific. Shivam then took us back to the starting point. Thank you both. Everything was perfect.

Excellent day tour. Our young tour guide (Sheena?) was very helpful and went out of his way to buy us a snack for breakfast. Our drive Dildar has been brilliant over our two day tour and he also collected us from the airport. Thank you.

This tour was well organised and very interesting. I was unsure about visiting Elephanta after seeing some mixed reviews but it is definitely worth the visit if you appreciate history and culture. Trikal the local cave guide was very informative and explained some fascinating history about the caves. This tour involves a boat ride from Mumbai which is a great way to see the bay. Neha was my main guide for the day and she was absolutely fantastic. Her knowledge about culture, foods and the city was incredible. She really looked after me and we had a lovely tour together. I would highly recommend!
