The cruise was fantastic. Views were beautiful despite intermittent rain. The guide shared history and interesting info. At Geiranger we dined at the wonderful bistro he recommended and the sun came out!

Amazing. I love this tour so much. Worth every penny. The cruise has two levels. One is for people sitting inside and the upper deck is for you to enjoy the view. The tour guide was so helpful in explaining things along the way :) The cruise itself is so comfortable. Highly recommended! There are toilets, a little mini kiosk where you can get tea, coffee and snacks.

The Captain and staff were informative, they have screens pointing out history as you ride through the fjord. Very pleasant experience.

Scenery was wonderful. Staff was wonderful, particularly after I spilled hot chocolate on my wife’s lap. Walk up and down the spectacular waterfall in Geiranger. Ship was wonderful. If you don’t enjoy this trip, it’s hard to believe you can enjoy anything. It’s expensive, but going to Norway and not doing this excursion is trip malpractice. Here’s an absolutely fantastic short trip to Norway.. Fly into Bergen and go up the two gondolas to top of the mountain for amazing views. The next day take the ferry on the Sognefjord for a great boat ride to Flam. Put luggage in a hotel. Take tour to Stegastein viewpoint and back. Sleep. Next morning take the fantastic train to Myrdal and then a train back to Bergen. Go to the airport and take the plane to Alesund. Get hotel and next morning leave most of your luggage at the hotel and take the ferry one way to Geiranger. Check in for an overnight stay there in a hotel. Walk the amazing waterfall there. Then take the ferry to Hellesyte and back. The ride is fantastic and when you get off you will see the superlative waterfall there. Be sure to walk the path up to the small stone bridge at the top of the waterfall. Take the ferry back to Geiranger. Have a nice meal and sleep. Early the next morning drive a rental car north to Andalsnes via the Eagle Road (Road 63) to Andalsnes via the following stops: the incredible Ørnesvingen Viewpoint to Trollstigen Utsiktpunkt to Andalsnes. Drop your luggage off at a hotel and go up the Romsdalen Gondola for great views and have a great dessert at the Essen Restaurant while you see the views. Eat dinner & go to sleep at ANDALSNES UNDERGROUND flat. Early the next morning drive back to Geiranger via a stop at Trollvegen (Troll Wall) to Dombas to Breiddalen Valley Lookout to Geiranger Skywalk, Dalsnibba to Waterfall View to Flydalsjuvet viewpoint and Geiranger. Return rental car. Stay overnight at a hotel. Next morning take the ferry back to Alesund where you will pick up your luggage and stay at your original hotel. See some of Alesund. Continue on your trip to anywhere you want. You have just taken a short, but incredibly sweet trip with memories that will not be forgotten. You get the most impact in the least amount of time and effort for the least amount of money. You will love it.

This was a very well organized tour with a great guide, giving us all the different information points as we went along. Worth the cost unless you’ve seen a lot of other few on your trip.

The trip was amazing!!!! Even through the day started off overcast…it made the mountains more scenic. Then the skies cleared in the afternoon. The guide was awesome. He was informative and very friendly sharing all sorts of Norwegian info. Highly recommend this experience.

Spectacular scenery, absolutely no doubt this will be a highlight of your trip. However, given the cost of this excursion, here's the downside for us that we were less impressed with: Not enough seats for everyone who wanted to be outside. My husband and I spent the whole 3 hours awkwardly perched on top of an uncomfortable container because there were no seats. It also got cold - why? there were only 15 blankets to go round. Yes, we could have gone inside but the point is, this is best experienced up close and in the fresh air! I felt like this company was packing people in to get the most onboard with little regard for comfort. Most people wanted to be outside on the way to Geirangerfjord for this once in a lifetime experience. On the way back we were one of the first in line to get back on the boat but even then, the seats aren't out on deck, they are stacked up and you have to rush to grab one in the frenzy before they all run out. This was a big negative but luckily we had beautiful weather and great scenery but I did not expect the competitive sport involved just to get a plastic seat for something that we'd paid $200 for each.
