Breathtaking Lebanon: Cedars & Beiteddine Heritage Escape

Had an AMAZING day visiting the beautiful Cedar forest reserve, tasting the DELICIOUS honey and sampling the PRISTINE environment, getting under the skin of Lebanon diverse and multicultural past at the Palace and topping it off with FABULOUS food at the Auberge des Emirs. A very warm welcome indeed from the tour team who were clearly passionate about this BEAUTIFUL country! Very highly recommended. Lebanon is not just a country - it is a warm happy feeling :-)

Furthermore, I would like to thank the drivers Amine and Michel for their outstanding transportation service. The first stop was at Cedars Reserve. This is the second time I do this tour, and I can never get bored. The smell of the nature and the magnificient Cedars trees surrounding you, make you feel as if you were in another world. It is the best therapy to relax. The second stop was at Beiteddine Palace, one of Lebanon's gems, well preserved, with marvellous views, and its several rooms, walls and ceilings beautifully decorated along with colourful windows. The tour ended with a delicious Buffet lunch at the Auberge des Emirs hotel in Deir El Qamar, known for its breathtaking location on the top of the hill, and its friendly staff. Once again, thank you City Sightseeing tours for everything that you do, and please keep on making us believing in our country and its charm, despite the current unbearable times. I have been on several tours with Sightseeing Lebanon over the past 9 months and it’s always a great joy. The team is great but especially Carla is amazing! She keeps the group in great spirits, is knowledgeable and is always laughing and even dancing! On these day trips you see amazing sights which normally most probably you would miss on a visit to Lebanon. They also pick the best restaurants for great food and ambience. Big thanks also to the bus drivers! Amazing how they navigate that giant through the tiny and loaded roads! Keep it up guys!

The tour was the perfect way to celebrate Lebanese. The bus trip was smooth, well planned out and super fun! We were able to visit the Lebanese cedar trees which are so special. The team was so organized, they showed us many beautiful places and were very informative. ! I would recommend it to anyone living in Lebanon or visiting.
