Nusa Penida Private Tour: Mantas, Snorkel & Island Magic

We had such an amazing day on a private boat trip to Nusa Penida! The whole experience was fun, well-organized, and absolutely beautiful. We snorkeled in several spots and saw turtles, dolphins, and the most incredible part; swimming with giant manta rays! Our guides Derrick and Roby were the best, super friendly, knowledgeable, and really made sure we had a great time. They took care of everything and even captured lots of photos and videos throughout the day so we could just enjoy the moment. Such a memorable experience for our family that we highly recommend!

We took the boat at 8 in the morning and started this awesome day! My mom, brother and I have seen a lot of the ocean in our lives.. but this trip really was something different! First a few stops to see a lot of different fish and even some turtles! Then on nusa penida a short drive to a very nice location where we enjoyed a great buffet with one of the best views I've seen in my life. There was enough time to relax or even do some insta pictures if that's your thing :) especially the next location was awsome for pictures (just google kelingking beach and you see why :) and to see a lot of the island itself by car with a nice driver. Everything was organized by bluuu and we could just listen to our guides where to go next. Here goes a special thanks to Ceco an K, our trip guides, who made this day perfect! They helped my mother and the hole group allday, gave great instructions before and during the snorcheling trips and after a littlebit of searching they found us the perfect last snorcheling spot on the other side of the island. You can't really explain this experience... at least 10 huge manta rays were swimming beside and under us!! I will never forget that in my life! Definitely worth the trip! Our instructors Danny and Gede were amazing and prepared for every scenario. They had everything ready to provide whether it was sea sickness tablets, fruit, water or sunscreen. It was an overall great experience and lots of fun! Loved it!

Our island trip was really fun, especially because of our tour guide Ceco and K, and the boat team. They were very hands-on and made everything so enjoyable. They made us laugh a lot and went out of their way to keep the tour fun and full of laughter.

Wow what an amazing experience with Dani & Gede from Bluuu tours. Everything was so well prepared, from pick up to preparation. Boat is high end, as well is all the gear. Definitely worth every penny! We saw the mantas and the 3rd snorkeling stop at the wall was amazing. The restaurant at lunch was amazing, with good view and swimming pool. What an extraordinary day it was!

Bluuu tours boat and the crew Nyoman and Dena are top notch. I would highly recommend this tour over taking the public ferry and wasting time with an extra boat transfer. Lots of Mantas on our day!

Incredible experience, Gio and Tim gave us an incredible experience. From the snacks to the sunset sipping on prosecco, they made an effort to make us all enjoy. Nusa Penida, the sights and scenery was beautiful 😍 Keep up the good Gio and Tim😍

Our guide Aden & his assistant Ringgo combined knowledge and organisational skills with huge enthusiasm to provide us with a great day out! This trip is not for the faint-hearted though: a bouncing, jolting, extremely nippy boat ride over a big sea made us all squeal! This combined with a somewhat hair-raising 3-hour round trip drive via a restaurant with fabulous views and good Indonesian cuisine, for a quick look at Kelingking cliffs. The cliffs are spectacular but beware the crowds queuing at the top, and be careful of the difficult, high-tread steps to see the view. To be honest, the view of the cliffs we had from the boat were equally good, and less long, uncomfortable driving would have been easier! However, the four snorkelling sessions were wonderful; the variety of fish and corals genuinely made it feel like swimming in an aquarium. Aden and Ringgo were always careful to ensure safety on the boat and in the sea. The absolute highlight of this long day was snorkelling above a group of six magnificent manta rays - it was astounding to be so close to these wild creatures in their own environment - quite surreal and an experience I will never forget! Really wonderful trip but beware if you have any joint or mobility problems.

Ceco and Kadek are such fantastic humans and tour guides. All of the crew are fun and helpful throughout the entire day. This is an epic trip, definitely don't skip this one. The experience just got better and better as the day went on. And then I left on a high after swimming with the gigantic manta rays. This trip showed me a side of Bali that I didn't know existed.
