Positive - on time pickup, comfortable vehicle, courteous and excellent driver, personable guides, beautiful location Neutral - too much of marketing collaboration with first a honey vendor, then a textile vendor plus additional similar activities. Just because you have a captive audience, it should not be exploited. Instead focus on showcasing the natural beauty of Lake Attitlan and its history

Definitely would recommend this trip. It was very organized and timely. Our driver got us safely to and from Lake Atitlan in good time, and the tour van was comfortable. We traveled via private speed boat to 3 different towns on Lake Atitlan, which was an incredible experience. Our local tour guide, Elena, was very kind and helpful.

Loved it! Totally worth it, would definitely recommend it. If you get car sick/ boat sick I would recommend to take some motion sickness pills as the drive can be a little crazy with lots of curved roads but besides that, the guides were awesome! I really enjoyed it, I got to learn a lot of things I didn't know about and how hard working their people are. Such a beautiful place with beautiful views

Beautiful lake and so much to do. There are bee wine and soap shops around in the small towns. Very picturesque and food is great.

Great way to see lake Atitlan in a day! They were also great in arranging transportation for me to come back to Antigua the next day instead of returning home with the group that night.

A great way to see the lake and towns in a day. A lot is covered including 4 towns, cooperatives, and learning about the area and its history. Breakfast was good size and included which was nice. Only issue was the restaurant that was chosen for lunch wasn't great food quality. I'd recommend going to a different restaurant if joining this tour

I have some mixed feelings about this tour though overall good. Ahead of time booking and communication was great. You get picked up in Antigua by a driver (who was great) though not a guide for the about 2 hour give or take drive to the lake. You get there and have breakfast at their hand selected cafe, which was fine. No other time to see or find out anything about Panajachel. We skipped breakfast and took a walk on their very nice waterfront, but most things were not open at that time. Then onto the boat which was a smooth process. If you get sea sick take whatever you take. It can be choppy. First stop San Juan la Laguna, where they say there are several cooperatives to visit though only the Women's weaving stop seemed like a cooperative, the others were shops with a nice introduction to what they do (honey and chocolate) and were interesting stops were still interesting to see the traditional techniques. Next stop San Pedro La Laguna was a waste honestly. Your basic hippie beach town with lots of shops and coffee. Not much of interest there. One of our group just stayed and shilled on the boat which in retrospect was a good choice. The third stop was good. The down was they again direct you to a specific place to eat where they take our order so it will be ready when you get back from the tour, which it was not. The tour by TukTuk on the website says 25Q a person, but when you get there it is actually 50Q which they explained because it was both ways. Sketchy. That said the stops at the church (be sure to meet Magdelena!) and Maximon were well worth it and the overlook was nice. Not so sure of the art gallery. Back afterwards to lunch which was mediocre. For some reason they thought the appropriate condiment for my fish tacos was some sort of warm tomato soup tasing sauce. They were kind enough to make my wife ceviche which is not on the menu and was pretty good. Condiments were ketchup and soy sauce. after that about an hour to wander around which was fine. then back to Panajachel. where the van picks you up to take you back to Antigua. The lake itself is nice, as is the scenery, though not sure I'd call it spectacular. On the whole a nice day, but if you really want a deep dive into the area a day trip is not the way to do it. If you have the time and are looking for a quick overview this was good.

It was a good experience. The tour guide did an excellent job informing. When it comes to their profession, I was 100% satisfied. The driver did an excellent job driving. The guide did an amazing job leading and informing. However, the trip itself is a little heavy. The drive is almost 3 hours (one direction) of bumpy and winding roads which can leave you with vertigo. The towns are great but just be ready to buy stuff since every stop, they will try to sell you something. I don't think having only 1 day in Lake Atitlan is sufficient time to explore and enjoy the community.

Wonderful tour! If I could give them ten stars I would. It covers a lot of ground and offers different activities.
