I had the pleasure of staying in one of the new & briliantly equipped apartments/rooms. I stayed for 12 nights in October & returned for 9 nights in November. I called it my city centre sanctuary because despite being directly opposite Leeds Town Hall, it is far enought away (3 mins walk) from the arena, bars & restaurants in the super vibrant city centre to be very peaceful . I'm a wherlchaiir & rollater user so my experience was that good I stayed twice in room 201 The space was great to get around, wider doors to the bedroom & bathroom with level access dual function shower with a grab rail (I was given a shower stool to use) and the sink is lowered. My only criticism of the bathroom is there are no grab rails around the toilet, which seems a strange oversight in a room that is to be used for travellers with reduced mobility. Also therr is nowhere to hang a hand towel next to the sink. I would of felt safer & i had to stay 100% mindul not to miss the loo altogether (which i did twice) Luckily for me i still have enough strength to get up from the floor, transfer & use the seated rollator to cook in the well equipped kitchen. The bed is quite high, i'm a short-arse & i've got MS so it took me a few attempts to get a good strategy & get up there so i would say it would be difficult for any one with less capability and no one to assist. A couple of things that i hope the staff take on board is that there are no coat hooks in the main area of the apartment & housekeeping entitlement for the duration of your stay could be better applied. The staff are all super friendly & helpful too. As a lone female guest with a disability i felt safe, seen & heard - very important for me as a wheelchair user. I booked my 2nd stay directly with the property - a better deal than through an app. Thanks Marella, Joe, Cat & Charlie 🙂

Great tour with the Mendenhall Glacier and whale watching. We were on a cruise and booked our own excursion. It was easy to meet tour and then got on our way with shuttle. We saw the glacier first and got time to explore and walk down to waterfall. Then took shuttle to see the whales. We saw so many whales and even saw one breach.

This whale watching tour was well worth the price. It was easy to book and it was part of the Mendenhale Glacier visit as well which was fabulous other than it would have been nice to have more than 1 hour to visit the glacier since it takes that long to hike to the glacier and back. The whale watching cruise was perfect amount of time. While its out of their control, we couldn't have had better weather. We were so delighted with the number of whales we saw and how close they were. At one point we had two whales and a calf whale within 50 yards of our boat. What a treat. The crew, James, Morgan, and Gwen were so informative, helpful, great hosts. The shuttle bus driver to and from the Glacier was very informative, and had a great sense of humor.

Greg, Kace, and Nate made this the best whale watching for us. They love their jobs and it was amazing. As we headed back in they actually stopped again as we saw more whales super close. Very educational and made the best for a rainy day excursion in Juneau.

We had the most wonderful holiday celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The service was incredible and there was nothing staff couldn’t do for you. Special mention to Grace whose customer service was exceptional, Raju who made fabulous cocktails by the pool and Shaen who looked after us at breakfast each day with a huge smile. Louise LaBalle also tended to our every needs especially when I was unwell. My only very ‘minor’ complaint was that there were not enough staff on check in and check out. On both occasions we had to wait a long time which you wouldn’t expect in a 5 star hotel. We will certainly be back!

Our group of four had the best time whale watching with Alaska Tales. We were guaranteed to see whales, and they didn’t disappoint! Michelle, Sophie, and Kacie were fun and knowledgeable, explaining everything from whale behavior to regulations concerning whales. You could tell they absolutely love their jobs! Our bus driver was great, too. He pointed out eagles and bears as he drove us from spot to spot. We all enjoyed our time and would definitely do an excursion with Alaska Tales again!

Had a great time with both the glacier and whale watching tours. The whales was the best of the two as the ladies that guided us were great and we got to see both humpback whales and Orcas.

a neat excursion where we went to see the Mendenhall Glacier, and then went whale watching. the bus driver was engaging and had a lot of stories to tell; Greg, Monica, and Genevieve were our crew for the tour, and they were very knowledgeable and engaging; we were able to see several whales, including a baby whale, and got to see some seals lounging on a buoy as a bonus

What an amazing tour. James, Wil & Kacie made us have the most amazing day! Loved seeing the orcas. Kacie & Wil were super knowledgeable and made us have an absolutely great day. They kept us full of snacks and water and made sure we saw humpbacks and orcas. Overall it was an absolutely amazing day! We can't recommend enough!
