Tien Sa Port: Da Nang & Hoi An - Unforgettable Cultural Journey

Fran pick up to finish well organised all the places visited were beautiful and interesting and our guide was fantastic. It also a pleasant lunch giving a taste of Vietnam. Great company to book a tour with.

This day trip was absolutely perfect, and Mr. Ty went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed/wanted. Hoi An was beautiful and boat ride was the perfect end to a wonderful day.

We saw some amazing temples, which Tuan had lots of details on. They provided a delicious lunch and the sights they showed on the way were so scenic. They took us to Hoi An once our tour was over. They offered to come back to pick us up later that night. This was so appreciated. The whole day was fabulous because of the sights but also because our guide and driver were exceptional.

This is the first time we arranged shore excursion on our own because we prefer a full day excursion to maximize our time in port. Andy has sent us an email well in advance to clearly identified where we will meet. It was heavy raining and glad to see Andy was waiting for us at the port entrance. Andy introduced our guide for the day Kong to us. Kong speaks fluent English and very polite. The driver is very skillful and opened the door for us every time we getting on/off the car. We had a smooth ride all day long even the motor bikes cutting in and out of our lanes all the time. Kong has fully utilized every minutes of the day for us. He is very knowledgeable on the places we visiting. He is particularly in depth knowledge of Buddhism. We are glad to know so much on Buddhism from his very interesting introduction. The lunch at Hoi An is excellent. Andy has reserved a table by the window that overlooking the river. A total of nine courses on the menu and the food is tasty. Kong bought us to a restaurant at Da Nang by end of the day as per our request to experience some more local food.... even he and the driver need to work a little bit overtime. I will not be hesitated to use Andy's service again.

We spent a very pleasant day in the company of our guide Ken, who not only showed us, and told us the history of, the sights of Da Nang and Hoi An, but also told us (and showed us pictures of) his own experiences from the time of the war. He was an interpreter for the US powers that be, and had some stories to tell! He was very helpful in pointing out photo opportunities, and took pictures of the two of us in many of the places we went. A very enjoyable day - highly recommended!

This was a fantastic tour! Not having booked a non-cruise ship shore excursion before, I wasn't sure what to expect with the whole process. Andy made it very easy as he was quick to answer any of my questions and he sent us a picture of where we were to meet after we got out of the port which made it very simple to find him. He met us there with our guide and driver and sent us on our way for a wonderful day in Hoi An. Our guide, Ken, was an older gentleman but very knowledgeable about Vietnamese history and the area of Da Nang and Hoi An in particular. And his English was excellent. He also volunteered to take pictures of us with our phone so we could have some with the two of us. We saw a local fishing area, China Beach, and Marble Mountain before we headed to Hoi An. Marble Mountain was amazing and how it was used during the Vietnam (American) War was fascinating. Once we got to Hoi An, our guide and driver were very patient and accommodating in trying to find us an ATM machine that we could use, we had to go to several different ones before we could find one that would work with our card. We had a very filling and delicious meal (included) by the water in Hoi An and walked around the village with our guide telling us stories and history of the area. We also went into some temples and the Japanese Covered Bridge and saw a small silk factory. We then had some free time to wander around do do a little shopping before heading back to the ship. Along the way back we stopped at the Dragon Bridge in Da Nang to take some photos, then back to our cruise ship in plenty of time. It was a fantastic day that we will always remember.

We found Andy great to correspond with by email prior to our cruise. We wanted to do a private excursion (just the two of us) when we arrived on our cruise ship. Andy was very accommodating and listened to our requests. He kept in contact during our tour and his guide, John, was very knowledge and helpful. The weather wasn't the best but John and the driver were very helpful in keeping up dry. Would definitely recommend people book with Andy

Nice excursion, with driver & guide in very comfortable car. Dropped off correctly on time and back to the ship. Delicious lunch, a whole day according to your own wishes. Highly recommended
