NYC's Dazzling Dyker Heights Holiday Light Adventure

This tour was hands-down the best thing I have ever done in NYC! My daughter and I had heard great things about the Christmas lights displays in Dyker Heights, so we signed up for that, but received so much more than we'd ever dreamed. Taking a tour with our tour guide Fred (born and raised in NYC) was like being shown around the city by an old friend or family member. While the lights at Dyker Heights were every bit as spectacular as promised, the highlight of the trip for me was Fred's insightful, engaging commentary on landmarks and influential New Yorkers along the way. Numerous Manhattan points of interest are included on this comprehensive tour, including the Meatpacking District and DUMBO, which we'd never visited. As a local, Fred knows exactly where to stop to capture unforgettable views of the iconic NYC skyline from a unique perspective, something only a local can offer. The view of the Empire State Building from Washington Park was unforgettable! Our driver was also excellent, delivering a smooth and safe ride through Manhattan and over to Brooklyn on a modern, climate-controlled mini-bus, which was extremely comfortable. By the end of the tour, strangers were friends, snapping photos for each other, and everyone was well and truly in the holiday spirit. I am a world traveler and have never encountered such an amazing tour. Words are inadequate to express what a life-changing experience it is, definitely worth every cent of the (very reasonable) price, particularly given all the exciting extras. Great tour, lots of fancy houses and fancy decorations! Ray is an awesome guide and showed us some cool places around Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, and Manhattan with opportunities to go outside and walk around!

Garret is a fantastic tour guide! A genuine human encyclopedia of NYC and its history. He’s full of details and little known facts and mixes in lots of humor along the way. Dig it! Driver Kevin is a pro along the entire route. Very nice tour bus too.

The tour was amazing. Learned so much history about Manhattan and Brooklyn. The lights in Dyker Heights were something to see. We've made this a yearly tradition! We had a little rain but didn't dampen our spirit! Highly recommend!

Awesome!!! Fred (our guide) talked all about nyc and its history while pointing out all the landmarks. First 25% of tour was the city by bus second 1/2 was walking through the Xmas lights and the last part about bridges ,tunnels and beautiful skylines while on the bus. Well paced and super interesting!
