This day trip is guaranteed to make your stay in the island unforgettable. This tour has adrenaline and adventure, history and archeology, beautiful scenery and beaches. The drive to Arecibo is About an hour and it is beautiful from start to finish. We arrive and begin our hike to the cave of the Taino. Bring good shoes as the hike is quite rocky. The entrance to the cave is not for claustrophobic people. it is bit challenging but with our careful instructions you will be able to get inside (barring any physical conditions that hinder you). The cave is other worldly. You get transported to the past as you see the over 100 carvings in the stone that are hundreds, maybe thousands, of years old. After we exit the cave we will hike through the famous 7 arches of Arecibo. The arches are natural rock formations which can be appreciated in pictures, but only in person will you realize how beautiful it all really is. Last we visit a non-touristy beach that is amazing!

We will start our adventure by visiting Cueva del Indio or Indian Cave, located in the town of Arecibo. Said to contain the largest number of petroglyphs found along the coast of the island, Cueva del Indio is a cave carved into the limestone by the sea opening to the sky. You will be able to see the beautiful cave, huge cliffs, arches and natural rock bridges.
