Great overview of Auckland. In addition the wine tasting was terrific and the lunch stop had wonderful service, a warm staff and great food.

Our guide Danny collected us from our hotel promptly, and entertained us throughout the day with stories of Auckland. Unfortunately the weather was against us, horrific wind and rain, but we managed Mount Eden (albeit soaked on the way down), and it was lovely to see the Auckland suburbs, both old and new. An excellent full lunch at The Riverhead Tavern, before journeying to Devonport, and around the harbour area. Despite the weather we had a great day, and thanks to Danny for his patience. Highly recommend this tour company

Danny was a fantastic guide and made our experience a lot of fun in spite of unusually cold, windy and rainy conditions. He was extremely knowledgeable, attentive and engaging. We got drenched hiking up one volcano and nearly blown off another in 60 mile an hour wind gusts. These conditions are very unlikely to happen on any given tour and I have not reduced our rating for the weather. The bus was comfortable and the sites we visited were awesome. The lunch spot we went to was a pub more than 100 years old and the food and service were great. The information and insights Danny shared were very interesting, so we learned a lot about the key sites and the history, culture, economy, geology and fauna and flora of Auckland. I would highly recommend this tour for your first day in town, and I would very enthusiastically recommend Danny as a guide.

The tour was a great way to see the highlights of Auckland - different neighborhoods, the countryside, a winery, and more. Brenda our guide was excellent. We learned so much, she answered all of our questions, and she’s a great driver.

This Auckland City Tour is a comprehensive tour of all parts of Auckland! A good way to learn more about the city and see famous spots in every corner of this large, spreadout city! Our guide, Brenda, was very knowledgeable about the history and all the sights we saw along the tour, was very considerate to pull-over for quick photo ops, and very capable at moving the 15passenger through the busy city, while giving us a running commentary of everything we were seeing!! We especially enjoyed the Winter Gardens, the wine tasting at Soljans Winery, lunch at Riverhead Tavern (circa 1857, NZ's oldest riverside tavern!), the disappearing gun at the South Battery, and the fantastic views from Mt.Eden!! An all-around excellent tour!

I had a wonderful day visiting Hobbiton and the Glow Worm Caves with my two kids. The tour was very well structured and perfectly organized. Our guide and driver, Steven, was incredibly kind and attentive to our needs, making the experience easy and enjoyable for the whole family. His knowledge of Kiwi and Māori culture was impressive, and the stories behind the Hobbiton movie set were truly mind-blowing. Both the movie set and the Glow Worm Caves were unforgettable highlights. Highly recommend this tour, especially for families!

As an out-of-towner, this tour gave us the chance to visit all of Auckland. You will see the surroundings beaches, countryside, across the harbor bridge and more. It does not focus on downtown itself which was perfect since we could do that on foot. You get a local’s perspective which was magnificent. Mike, our driver, was on time, friendly, full of useful information and made our trip special. So glad we did this!

Mike was on time to pick us up at the hotel.He was actually early. Mike knows the city and knew where to take us for the best views for photos. He knew the history of the city, and even arranged for us to stop at a grocery store to pick up some snacks . HIs lunch stop was perfect We were able to see a local pub. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you're off a cruise ship getting on a cruise ship or only have a limited time.In Auckland.

This is a great tour for families and get a good view of the Auckland. Our tour guide Michael was very knowledgeable, guided us through the city very well and a great sense of humor.
