The property is truly one-of-a-kind, and if you care about understanding the history of what you're seeing, the only way to experience it to the fullest is via a private tour. My sister and I were very fortunate to have Jennifer as our very knowledgeable and personable guide and she was so great to spend the afternoon with. Having her wealth of valuable knowledge, information, and insights all to ourselves for several hours really enriched our experience and made this extraordinary property come to life.

Our guide Eduardo was excellent - he was informative , knowledgeable and passionate about the Alhambra This is truly and excellent and unique experience but you do need professional accompaniment to get the most out of such a complex but such a historically significant building Thanks Eduardo for making the learning experience so informative and enjoyable

My wife and I have traveled around the world for four decades and I spent two decades before that traveling myself. We have always found that using guides is essential for an enriching experience in unknown places. For the most part we’ve been fortunate in having good to very good ones. Matias was an exception. He possesses a comprehensive knowledge of the historical aspects of the Alhambra. But much more, he exhibits a true passion and love for the place. He presents this in a way which makes one think that he’s seeing it for the first time and totally excited about all the details of the architecture, the gardens, and the culture, instead of having seen it hundreds of times. His enthusiasm is completely infectious and his warmth and generosity as a person made us feel cared for like friends. A rating of ten doesn’t adequately describe how exceptional our experience was.

A wonderful private tour by Jennifer. My father has mobility issues and she took time and effort to make sure he enjoyed while allowing breaks and a slower pace. Excellent communication by company prior to tour. So glad we didn’t have to wait in long lines

We really enjoyed all of our Yannat tours during our trip to Spain. We ran across them booking a trip to Cordoba and they reached out to ask is they could help us with anything else. We ended up booking Toledo, Granada, Barcelona ( park Güell and Sagrada Familia as well as a city walking tour) also with them. Their guides were each unique and engaging and extremely knowledgeable. If you can go afford to do the private tours, it’s a really wonderful experience. Also, their communication is excellent , we were in constant contact with them. We had the most wonderful private tour of the Alhambra with Mattias from Yannat Travel. Mattias is charming, funny, professional and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of not only the Alhambra but of the art and history of Spain, Europe and North Africa. Jennifer our guide, was very gracious and knowledgeable about the history of the Alhambra and the Nazaries Palaces. She was very thorough in her answers to each and every question. For future tour participants be sure to wear appropriate shoes as there are many potential tripping hazards.

Private tour with Matias was fantastic. He grew up in Granada and have in depth knowledge of the Alhambra palace. I learned a lot about the history and gain great appreciation of Alhambra from my visit.
