Dachau Memorial: A Solemn & Powerful Journey from Munich

It is a very heavy experience as the subject is so dire. Very very informative. Request Michael if you can. He’s brilliant- very knowledgeable and did a lovely job of sharing the details of this very sensitive and horrific time in our world history.

Totally informative about Dachau and the historical background that led to the concentration camps. Our guide, Mat, spoke perfect English, was very knowledgeable, and answered any and all questions. Although the subject of the tour is extremely troubling and emotional, Mat’s presentation and manner was positive. There was sufficient time to wander a bit and have light refreshments at the cafeteria.

Our guide Michael gave us fascinating insights not only about what happened at Dachau, but also what led up to it, and the lingering after effects. Not necessarily a "fun" tour, but an important one if you want to understand "how could that have happened?", and just as importantly, what we can do to make sure it never happens again.

Very informative and eye opening experience. I am thankful we booked a guided tour because I do not think we would have learned as much without it. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to understand.
