Munich Old Town: Unforgettable History & Hidden Gems Tour

Leon told us about the ancient history of Munich and also some of the more recent history. He was engaged and informed. The tour was a great way to start our visit. Leon also made sightseeing and dining recommendations.

Very informative walking tour of Munich. We were impressed with how much we were able to see on our tour. Our guide, Iain, was funny, knowledgeable, and answered all our questions. We covered a lot of ground in a short amount of time walking at a decent pace, so this may not be for those who are slower to move. Highly recommend this tour company!

We ended up doing a tour with Leon during our time in Munich. He was friendly, and kind and centered our tour to our interests! He was very knowledgeable and personable and his stories were awesome. He even gave us some great recommendations when it was over! We would’ve missed so much of the unique history of Munich without this experience.

As a first time visitor to Munich, I definitely recommend this tour. Our tour guide, Michelle, was very knowledgeable and a great story teller. The two hour tour was the perfect length to get our bearings in Old Town, and get an idea of locations where we would like to spend more time. We also learned a lot of background information on the Christmas markets that we found very helpful. The tour size was slightly bigger than I would ideally prefer (~15-20 people), but I still found the experience enjoyable. Overall, this was perfect tour for those new to Munich, the Christmas markets, or those who just enjoy a scenic history lesson.

We did a 2-hour walking tour at the start of our trip, and it was the perfect way to kick off our time in Munich. The tour was incredibly informational, engaging, and genuinely funny-the perfect balance of history, local insight, and humor. Dan, our bearded guide was fantastic: knowledgeable, charismatic, and clearly passionate about the city, with great storytelling that kept everyone entertained the entire time. We learned so much while never feeling overwhelmed or bored. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Munich, it really set the tone for the rest of our trip.

Our walking tour experience was great. We had Adrian as our tour guide and he gave us so much great info. The check in was easy and all the people in the office where we started were very nice. We finished the tour then went to lunch with some of the other travelers on the tour. It was a great day!!!!

Our guide taught us a lot about the history of Munich and was very informative. Pointed out key attractions along the way
