Begin your holiday in Washington D.C., our nation's capital. A get-acquainted reception and dinner will allow you to get to know everyone tonight at the WILLARD INTER-CONTINENTAL HOTEL.

Day 2 B
Washington, D.C.
Take a full-day guided tour past notable government buildings and through some of our country’s famed monuments, then get a glimpse of our country’s fascinating history with a trip to the National Archives to view the Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence. Your last stop is at the Smithsonian Institute, a vast complex of various museums, where you can choose to explore the exhibits most interesting to you. Day 3 BL
Mount Vernon/Williamsburg

This morning, depart for a tour of George Washington’s Mount Vernon. Stop in Alexandria for a colonial style lunch at Gadsby’s Tavern, described as the finest public house in America. After lunch, visit Washington’s place of worship at Christ Church. Arrive in Williamsburg later this afternoon, set amongst some of the best-preserved colonial homes in America. Settle into the WILLIAMSBURG HOSPITALITY HOUSE.

Day 4 I
Williamsburg
Guides meet you this morning for a tour of historic Williamsburg, the former capital of Virginia. From 1699 to 1780, this quaint town was the heart of the state, until the capital moved to Richmond. A restoration of the town began in 1926, and today residential buildings display the authentic look of 18th-century America. Witness the Burning of the Yule Log and the firing of the muskets on Christmas Eve. Visit some of the best-preserved colonial homes in America before you join the festivities at the traditional Yuletide supper this evening. WILLIAMSBURG HOSPITALITY HOUSE.

Day 5 BD
Williamsburg
Merry Christmas! You are free to attend church services or to explore a bit on your own today. During Yuletide in Williamsburg, all the decorations are done in the style of the 18th century, with wreaths, garlands, greenery and candles glowing in the windows. Dinner this evening is a traditional menu at one of the historic taverns. WILLIAMSBURG HOSPITALITY HOUSE.

Day 6 BD
Monticello/Washington, D.C.
After breakfast this morning, drive to Charlottesville for a visit to Jefferson’s mansion, Monticello, the only house in America to make the United Nations’ World Heritage List. Lunch today is at the historic Michie Tavern. Later, return to Washington for a festive farewell dinner at the WILLARD INTER-CONTINENTAL HOTEL.

Conclude Washington, D.C.
