Start your holiday in a land rich with a blend of Native American, Mexican, Spanish and Western cultural traditions. This evening meet everyone at a get-acquainted reception and dinner at the MARRIOTT ALBUQUERQUE.

Day 2 BD
Taos Pueblo

Tour the Taos Pueblo to learn about customs the Taos Indians have handed down for centuries. Later, visit the Millicent Rogers Museum, which houses a large collection of southwestern art, including kachinas,baskets and pottery. Dinner is out on the town in Taos. FECHIN INN

Taos/Santa Fe

Your morning is free in Taos for some Christmas shopping or poking about the Kit Carson Home and Museum. This afternoon, as you head out to Santa Fe, see the striking Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, hovering 650 ft. over the rift’s river. Day 4 B
Santa Fe/International Folk Art Museum
Sightseeing this morning is a drive to see the city’s narrow streets, adobe homes and distinctive architecture. Then, take a walking exploration around the famous Plaza area and the Palace of the Governors. Visit the International Folk Art Museum, which houses the world’s largest collection of folk art. Be sure to explore The Hispanic Wing, which offers a great introduction on the culture of New Mexico. The remainder of your afternoon is at leisure in Santa Fe. THE HILTON OF SANTA FE

Albuquerque/Sandia Park
Visit the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, dedicated to one of America’s best-known artists of the 20th century, before returning to Albuquerque. Day 6 BD
Albuquerque/ Old Town/Luminarias Procession

Explore the historic Old Town District, where 18th-century architecture provides a charming backdrop. Christmas Eve dinner is again at a superior establishment out on the town. Then, experience the old New Mexico Christmas tradition of the luminarias--called farolitos, the Spanish word for “little lanterns”--which were small bonfires burned alongside the roads and churchyards to guide people to midnight mass. Christmas Day/Pueblo Dances

!Feliz Navidad! Part of your Christmas celebrations today will include a performance of Christmas dances at a nearby pueblo. Return to the hotel for an eggnog reception before sitting down with your traveling companions for a festive holiday dinner at the MARRIOTT ALBUQUERQUE.
