Day 2 BL
Burlington, VT

This morning, enjoy an excursion to nearby Shelburne for a visit to the Teddy Bear Factory. Day 3 BL
Middlebury/Hanover, NH
This morning, drive to the Paine Christmas Tree Farm to learn about the care of live holiday trees over cider and donuts. Afterwards, drive through Champlain Valley to the Middlebury Inn for lunch and Christmas caroling. This afternoon, continue to Weston and the original Vermont Country Store. Both the town and the store are on the National Historic Register. When Vrest Orton opened the doors of The Vermont Country Store in 1946, it was the first restored rural store in the nation and it stocked thousands of practical and intriguing necessities for daily living. Today, amid countless antiques and oddities stacked from floor to rafters, you'll discover long-forgotten brands and novelties. Enter New Hampshire, where set among the rolling hills of a classic New England college town, the Hanover Inn's hospitality has been a tradition for more than two centuries. HANOVER INN

Later, arrive in Stowe and the famous Trapp Family Lodge, still owned and operated by the family that inspired The Sound of Music. An old-fashioned sleigh ride sets the holiday spirit in high gear. Then, join in the festive Christmas Eve dinner at the TRAPP FAMILY LODGE.
