Itinerary
Day 1
D
Begin Denver/Brown Palace Hotel

Your Christmas adventure begins in Denver, "the mile high city"; set in the foothills of the mighty Rockies. Stay at the distinguished landmark Brown Palace Hotel, where you meet your fellow travelers at the 6:30 PM reception and dinner. BROWN PALACE HOTEL

Day 2 BD
Denver/A Christmas Carol

Tour the city this morning to see the famous 16th Street pedestrian stretch and old Larimer Square decked out for the holidays. Then visit the Denver Art Museum to explore its unrivaled Native American Indian collection, representing over 100 tribes’ weavings, beadwork, woodcarvings and art. The early afternoon is free for you to do a bit of Christmas shopping before a guided backstage tour at the Denver Center For Performing Arts. Have dinner out on the town, then attend Charles Dickens’ holiday classic, A Christmas Carol. BROWN PALACE HOTEL

Day 3 BD
Celestial Seasonings/Estes Park/Sleigh Ride

Head toward the mountains and Boulder to see the private collection at the Leanin’ Tree Museum of Western Art, which features bronze sculptures and fine paintings. On a visit to the headquarters of Celestial Seasonings, learn how eight million tea bags are produced daily, experience The Mint Room, where peppermint and spearmint are king, and enjoy a tea sampling. This afternoon, nestled below the peaks of the Rockies--the perfect place for a snowy holiday excursion--take a horse-drawn sleigh ride at Estes Park. Your accommodations this evening are at the Stanley Hotel, a Georgian Revival landmark of hospitality. STANLEY HOTEL

Day 4 BD
Colorado Springs/The Broadmoor

Drive to Colorado Springs and see the towering red sandstone formations of the Gardens of the Gods. The United States Air Force Academy is nearby, where you can visit the famous Cadet Chapel and the Visitors Center. Your Christmas weekend is at The Broadmoor, one of the finest resort hotels worldwide. THE BOARDMOOR

Day 5 BLD
Royal Gorge Route Railroad/The Broadmoor

Experience the majesty of the Royal Gorge aboard the Royal Gorge Route Railroad. The train hugs steep granite walls and runs along the crystal Arkansas River as it cuts its way deep through the Gorge. Lunch is served aboard the train before your return to Colorado Springs. Enjoy your Christmas Eve dinner and a show tonight at THE BROADMOOR.

Day 6 BLD
Colorado Springs

Merry Christmas! Your morning is free if you wish to attend church service before a delicious Christmas Day brunch at The Broadmoor. Before sunset, drive to nearby Cheyenne Canyon to see spectacular rock formations amongst green pines and to view Helen Hunt Falls, very likely a frozen waterfall at this time of year. These falls are named for Helen Hunt Jackson, a staunch 19th century advocate of the Native Americans and the first female Commissioner of Indian Affairs. Then drive through Seven Falls Canyon, with Christmas lights placed through the scenic canyon. Your Christmas farewell dinner is at THE BROADMOOR.

Day 7 B
Conclude Denver

After breakfast, transfer is provided to Denver’s International Airport. Flights should not be booked to depart prior to 12:30 PM. Back to Top
