Day 1 - Los Angeles/Tahiti
Day 1 - Los Angeles/Tahiti/Bora Bora
Board your flight early this morning bound for the romantic islands
of French Polynesia. On arrival you will be greeted in traditional
Tahitian style, with a fresh flower lei. Our staff will assist you
to your flight to Bora Bora. If the weather is clear your flight
will afford spectacular aerial views of the leeward Society Island
chain: Huahine, Raiatea, Taha’a, the atoll of Tupai and, of
course, Bora Bora. You arrive at the Bora Bora airstrip built on
a motu by the U.S. forces in 1942. On arrival you will be transported
across the emerald green and azure blue lagoon to your hotel. Your
overwater bungalow has been reserved for your immediate check-in
and will be your home for the next five nights.
Days 2 thru 5 - Bora Bora
Bora Bora has attracted artists and other romantics for centuries.
You’ll have plenty of time to explore this magical place with
its colorful fish, warm breezes and brilliant white sand beaches.
Perhaps take a day to tour the island by bicycle. Be sure to stop
in Vaitape, the island’s main village, and the other small
settlements you see on the way. Included during your stay is a thrilling
shark feeding excursion. You’ll be provided with snorkeling
gear and taken to the outer reef where your Tahitian guide will
“call” the sharks to be fed. On one evening you’ll
be treated to dinner at legendary Bloody Mary’s restaurant,
and on another evening there will be a romantic dinner for the two
of you at your hotel.
Day 6 - Bora Bora/Tahiti/Los Angeles
Early this morning bid farewell to paradise as you board your flight
to Papeete to connect with your flight to Los Angeles. You arrive
in Los Angeles this evening.
