Full Day Tour to Geyser del Tatio, Vado Putana and Machuca

The sights, very early in the morning, were worth the 4am trip. As our fantastic driver cum guide cum translator (to English) cum chef cum photographer, Alex, rightly said "No pains, No gains". After his scientific explanation about the geysers (after all, he is a mechanical engineer), he cooked up a fabulous breakfast, in a jiffy, for the 10 to 12 of us, at a flat spot - it was a superb picnic, amidst the beautiful sunrise in the mountains, with gulls trying to poke in. And then the sights of flamingos and vicunas, was the icing on the cake. Really a 5 star, memorable tour!

The early start was well worth it to see the geysers. Our guide Alex was great. He was very knowledgeable and answered every question. He was patient and let us take plenty of photos

The tour was really well organized from start to finish. Our guide, Alex, shared lots of fun and interesting facts about the places we visited. He made sure we had enough time to take good photos, stopped to show us local animals, and even prepared a delicious breakfast for the group. He also gave us helpful safety tips for the main attraction, which was appreciated. The views throughout the day were absolutely beautiful, and Alex spoke fluent English, which made everything easy to follow. Definitely worth the price!

I booked the 5 tours in 3 days but unfortunately I was only able to do 3 tours. I aas able to do the geyser tour, profess Rojas ( subcontracted t through Andes travels) and Vellecito tour. Unfortunately rainbow valley, lacuna cejar and valley of the moon were cancelled due to rain and the company were more than willing to offer alternative like they did with vallecito or refund the money. I was disappointed I couldn’t do all the tours I had wanted but I still had a good time with the tours I did have .

Overall very good, interesting, great guide Alex. Would definitely recommend to others, early start but 👍

Almost never booked this tour due to the early start but so glad I did! Definitely a highlight of my time in San Pedro de Atacama and the tour guide (Alex) was really informative. Would 100% recommend and a great breakfast is included.

We had an excellent Tatio Geysers tour with Javier. We arrived at the Geysers area relatively earlier some of the other groups, and visited three different areas in the park. Javier is an amazing guide, he gave us detailed information about the area and the geysers in each section we visited. On the way back, we made various quick photo stops as Javier explained us the flora and flora of the Atacama Desert. He took very good care of the group - this is a high altitude tour so he gave us important reminders and recommendations about what to do and checking up on us. Very highly recommended!
