@Garen was a wonderful guide who was informative, attentive and helpful to our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed her lovely talks. An added bonus fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Would definitely recommend her to everyone.

This is a fantastic way to learn about the food culture in Taipei! We got to try so many yummy dishes throughout the tour and definitely left with full bellies and wanting more time to try more! Eva was an incredible tour guide as the dishes and restaurants she selected showcased the diversity of cuisine in Taipei.

Eva was our guide. She made it easy for us to meet up with her, took us for terrific food and drink experiences, was a deep source of local and historical knowledge, had impeccable English, and displayed a fine sense of humor. We needed to walk the 40 mins back to our hotel to work off some of the calories, but it was worth it!

Garen was an amazing host, taking us through a carefully curated selection of restaurants and street food stands that offered delicious vegetarian food. As well as filling our stomachs with delicious food, Garen filled our minds with interesting facts about Taiwan and its history, including a few stops along the way to admire interesting historical buildings. The three hours really flew by and before we knew it we were waddling back to our hotel full of good food and with smiles on our faces. Would really recommend, especially if you do it at the start of your trip like we did. It set us up with a list of places to get good food for the rest of our time in Taipei.

June was a friendly and warm guide. She did a great job explaining historical contexts while enjoying the food. Would highly recommend her to have an authentic and worry-free experience!

Garen was an amazing hostess during our food tour on November 22nd in Taipei! As an experienced local, she showed us all the staple foods as well as some unexpected gems with an amazing history lesson as a bonus. She went above and beyond and even took us to 7-11 to walk us through must-try taiwanese snacks. We are all vegetarians and she adjusted the tour in such a perfect way. We were able. to try all of the classics just slightly adjusted for our dietary preferences. She was such an incredible tour guide and made the experience unforgettable. Would absolutely recommend this tour and Garen to anyone wanting a taste of Taiwan plus more!

Highly recommend this Taipei tour especially at the beginning to get great restaurant recommendations! Judy, our guide, was fantastic. She picked out great places for us to try (so much we were already stuffed by stop 3 :) and taught us a lot about the food we were eating and Taipei in general. She answered all of our questions and was lovely to talk to for 3 hours. All the restaurant and market recommendations were spot on and she even followed up with a list of additional restaurants to try after the tour ended. Highly recommend this tour but make sure to go when're hungry! Thanks, Judy!

This is a must-do if you come to Taipei. Our tour guide, Garen, was amazing! She took us to great spots around Dongmen Market and Yongkang Street. She was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The food selection was excellent, and we got a good glimpse of how people in Taiwan live. Highly recommended—especially if you’re a foodie!
