2-Hour Messina Walking Tour

First, kudos to our guide who found us while we were wandering around outside the port! Then thanks to her for running an interesting and well organised tour. We covered some very interesting sites and learned so much in the two and a half hours that we got more than our money's worth. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend to fellow travellers.

Took entire family including kids and the walk was well-timed and thorough. Claudio was our tour guide and he was able to bring us to all the notable locations and close out at the local cannoli/granita shop.

Chiara was great. She made sure we hit all the sights of the city. She timed the tour so we were able to see the astronomical clock in the Piazza and she took us to a family museum of puppeteers that for 5 generations have been creating and performing. They were amazing. Chiara also teared us to a local sweet and then had recommendations for restaurants for after our tour. I would highly recommend!

Great guide who was knowledgeable and friendly. Learned so much about the city and traditions. The puppet theater was a bit odd, but the host was friendly, the cannoli was outstanding-best one I had in Europe!

Chiara was a wonderful tour guide and helped us to appreciate some of Messina's history, culture and uniquness. She is a knowledgeable and caring guide and paced this tour well. Many highlights include the noon "show" at the church tower, the puppet museum with puppets exhited by a multigenerational family of traditiinal puppeteers and storytellers and the coup de grace, ending the tour with delicious sweets (our choice- granita and gelato) All in all, a delightful experience!
